Fuck I don't have time for this.

Alpha Katsuki growing up and having everything he wants. He becomes a pro hero, mellows out, and if he wanted, he could have basically anyone he wanted.

Omega, quirkless Izuku, homeless at 25, skinny as a twig and nearly dead from a villain.
Ground Zero rescues him because he recognizes him, then slowly comes to realize the reason none of his blind dates worked out before.

The twist? Izuku was r*ped and dropped out of high school to give birth to his child. She lives with Todoroki temporarily.
CW: ABO, alpha Bakugou/omega Izuku, intersex omega, AFAB terms, mentions of rape, probably NSFW later on
Izuku never did develop a quirk.

Katsuki wasn't sure why he was thinking of Deku now, of all times. He was supposed to be hunting down a villain who'd last been seen covered in blood. Armed and dangerous, the police chief had told him.
Yet, his mind was wandering to the little nerd he'd picked on through middle school. Deku never seemed to hit his growth spurt, even though he appeared to be a beta and should've by that age. Quirkless and without a secondary sex... plain as could be.
As much as he wished he could, Deku couldn't be a hero. He'd ended up at a different high school, but that was the last Katsuki heard of him. Over the years, his hag had lost contact with Inko.

It had taken a long time... and, admittedly, quite a lot of therapy.
But, Katsuki had learned to forgive himself for the monster he was as a teenager. Things were a lot better now, and he knew he wouldn't be able to keep moving forward if he was always looking back.
Now, he was 25 and the youngest pro hero to hit top 5 in the ranks. Fans loved him, and the media had loved watching him grow up and become a confident man, rather than a confident asshole.
The ladies (and gentlemen) were all over him, too, especially since he'd been caught on a date with a guy. The squad had been trying to set him up for years, but nothing ever clicked.

Bakugou was happy, but at 25, he knew his biological time clock was ticking.
It was his one source of unrest, and while part of him didn't want to admit it, it was too obvious to ignore.
A crash brought him out of his reverie. Down a dark alleyway, someone was whimpering. Distressed omega scent filled his lungs and set his instincts on fire.
Katsuki darted down the alleyway just in time to watch the villain escape out the other end.

"Spotted Jet Fuel!" he shouted into his communicator. "Track my location. Got a bystander wounded."

Several heroes sounded back in his ear.
Enough other heroes were on this; he should have plenty of time to get the omega out and to safety.

He almost missed them, crumpled in a heap against a dumpster, but the scent was too heavy to miss.
"Hey, you okay down there?"

Bakugou knelt down and looked over the omega. They were tiny, too thin to even guess their primary sex, let alone age. Dark, dirty hair hung in a way that made it obvious it hadn't been cut in a long time. Seemed like a poor homeless person had been
in the wrong place at the wrong time.

"Hey. Come on, look at me."

Their head lolled upward on a neck that looked far too tiny to hold it up. Even in the darkness, their eyes shone a vibrant color of green that was only dulled by the bags of sleeplessness.
"Kacchan..." their voice cracked in disbelief.

"... Deku??"

Deku's eyes slipped shut as he fell unconscious.
==========
When Izuku woke up, he had no idea where he was.

He couldn't be in his normal spot; the bed he was in was far softer than his pile of newspapers. The lights were dim, but they still shone too artificial for Osaka. Everything smelled sterile, and it made his stomach turn.
For a moment, he panicked. There were rumors of omegas getting picked up off the street... was he about to have his organs harvested?

Soothing alpha pheromones relaxed his muscles just as quickly as they'd tensed.
"Hey," a calming voice called from his right side.

Was... why was Kacchan sitting next to his bed?
Izuku's brows furrowed at the blond. "Am I dead?"

"Not yet," Katsuki snorted. "You almost were."

Ah. So he must be in the hospital.

Wait...
"W-wait... I can't be here. I can't pay for this."

"I already told them to forward any medical expenses to my agency. Don't worry about it."

"Kacchan... I can't pay you back, I don't..."
"Don't worry about paying me back, nerd."

"I... thank you."

"Yeah, don't sweat it."

The attitude change was no surprise to Izuku. With how much Bakugou had been in the spotlight, Izuku had also gotten to watch him become a better person. It was... refreshing, really.
"There must be something I can do to repay you..." he mumbled, cheeks flushing with a mix of embarrassment at what he was suggesting and shame.

Katsuki shifted in his seat and leveled Izuku with a stern look. "You can tell me what the hell happened to you."
Izuku swallowed heavy. He suddenly wished Kacchan had just left once he was awake.

"You mean before this? I don't really remember... I think a villain--"

"No, Deku. How did you end up living on the street?"

He clenched his jaw and fought back tears. "What do you mean?"
"Don't play dumb. You look like you weigh 40 kilos soaking wet. When was the last time you had a shower? Or a haircut?"

Deku averted his eyes. The tears spilled down his cheeks.

"It's... a long story."

"I've got all night."
Izuku looked back to Katsuki. The man had readjusted, and it somehow made him look less imposing. The look in his eyes was softer, too, more concerned. He really had changed since middle school.
"Mom... passed away, five years ago."

"So that's why my old hag lost touch."

"You asked about us?"

"I was curious. I'm sorry to hear she's gone."

"I was... just out of high school and barely made any money. I just couldn't afford to live anywhere by myself, so..."
"So you ended up on the street."

"Yeah," Izuku sighed with a defeated look.

Katsuki was silent for a minute, like he was thinking something over.

"When they release you, you won't be able to go back. You had some pretty severe wounds that need time to heal."
Izuku grimaced and fiddled with the edge of the sheet.

"Is there a shelter you can go to?"

"I tried... they're awful, Kacchan."

Katsuki's gaze softened further. "I've heard."

"The doctors there... they all treat me like I'm some doll, just because I'm an omega."
"When did that happen?"

"Um... right after middle school. I was just a late bloomer."

The blond nodded, then looked away as a blush dusted his cheeks. "Sorry."

Izuku shook his head. Silence enveloped the room then, filled with unspoken emotions that neither of them
had the energy to entertain. It was a while before Bakugou spoke again.

"Come stay with me."

Izuku blinked in surprise. "Why?"

"You have nowhere else to go, and they won't release you if they know you're just going right back out on the street."
"I could just deal with the shelter."

"I'm not making you go through that."

There was that stubborn look in Katsuki's eyes, the one he recognized from when they were children.

"Why do you care?"

"Because I owe you at least that much."
"You don't owe me anything..."

"Yeah, I fucking do."

Izuku bit his lip and looked away for a moment. Of course he felt guilty.

"Okay... but I'm not staying longer than I need to. Just until my wounds heal."

"Fine."

Katsuki's apartment was really fancy.

Okay, it was a basic two bed two bath apartment, but it was nicer than any home Izuku had been in in quite a while. Plus, his furniture was all really nice. Izuku was half afraid to sit on his couch.
Katsuki paid it no mind, just helped Izuku sit down on one end before he flopped down on the other.

"I got some stuff for you while you were in the hospital. It's in the spare bedroom. Just like, a toothbrush and shit like that."
"You really didn't have to--"

"Quit bitching, Deku. Just accept the help. I'm not gonna not help."

Deku flushed pink and stared at his hands in his lap.

"Thank you..."

"Yeah, yeah. Just focus on getting better. You can repay me by getting back on your feet."
Izuku nodded, then gasped, eyes wide.

"Do you have my belongings bag from the hospital?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Did they put my cell phone in there?"

"You're homeless and you have a /cell phone/?"
"It's just a burner. Can you please go find it?"

The urgency in Deku's voice made Katsuki think twice about pressing further. He got up and rooted through the bag the hospital had sent them home with. Sure enough, in the pocket of Deku's gross old jeans, was a flip phone.
"This it?"

"Yes," Deku sighed, reaching for the phone. Katsuki handed it over, and he immediately flipped it open and dialed a number hurriedly.

"Hey," he spoke when whoever was on the other end picked up.
"I'm sorry, I was... no, I'm fine. Is she okay?"

She? Katsuki raised an eyebrow but said nothing as he sat back down.

"Tell her I'll call tomorrow then," Izuku sighed. "I'm sorry... I know, but still. Thank you so much."i
Izuku hung up then and tucked the phone away in the loose sweatpants Katsuki had given him.

"Girlfriend?"

He looked up in surprise, then snorted in amusement. "No," he giggled.

Katsuki furrowed his brows in confusion. "Boyfriend...?"

Deku blushed a pretty pink this time.
"No..."

"Then--"

"I don't wanna talk about it."

"Alright," the blond huffed. "You really ought to try and get a shower, or at least a bath. You think you can do that on your own, or do you want help?"
Deku turned the color of a cherry. "N-no, I can sit and wash. Thank you, Kacchan."

Katsuki nodded, his own ears dusting with a blush. "Just yell for me if you need help."

He nodded and hurried out of the room as fast as he could with ten stitches in his abdomen.
=========
(I FORGOT TO TAG the angst oml. Also bakudeku. Guess that's obvious by now.)
Bakugou ended up buying Izuku a whole new wardrobe. It wasn't a ton, maybe ten simple outfits, but it was a lot to Izuku, whose belongings had previously consisted of one ratty outfit and the burner phone he had.
He'd tried to protest, but at the end of the day, Kacchan really was determined to help him get back on his feet, and really, Izuku didn't have it in him to fight anymore. He'd been fighting for years, struggling to have access to basic necessities.
It was nice to have someone taking care of him. It had been far too long.

Kacchan had taken a few days off to make sure Izuku could take care of himself, but after that, he had the apartment to himself for most of the day.i
It was a little boring, but he knew it was necessary. He spent most of the days watching TV and doing his best to self-rehabilitate without busting any stitches. The longer he was out of commission like this, the longer he'd be a burden to Kacchan.
He sometimes tried to cook dinner for the both of them, but he really couldn't make much other than chicken katsu. Kacchan actually seemed annoyed that Deku was pushing himself, rather than pleased to have food, so he tried to limit himself.
After a week or two, Katsuki came home with a new phone. It was a nice phone, albeit a more basic model.

"Here, nerd," he huffed, tossing the phone into Deku's lap.

"H-huh? Kacchan, you bought me a phone?"
"Just a simple one. Nothing fancy, but it'll give you something to do while you're recovering."

Tears welled quickly in Deku's eyes. "I can't, this is too much..." he sniffled.

"Tough shit, it's already done. I can probably get your old number, too."
"N-no, that's okay. It doesn't matter, really. Thank you, Kacchan. Um... is there any way I can--"

"God, stop with that, nerd." Katsuki rolled his eyes with a grimace. "If you wanna pay me back somehow, you're gonna have to get a job."
Izuku fell quiet, fiddling with the hem of his shirt.

"That... might be kind of tough."

"Ehh? Why?"

"I never finished high school," he muttered, dipping his head and blushing furiously.
"... you're kidding. Tell me you're fucking kidding."

Deku's blush deepened in a kind of shame.

"Fuck, you're not kidding. What the hell happened that you didn't finish school?"

More silence. A long, awkward moment passed between them.
Katsuki's glare softened into concern. "Deku... if you don't want to talk about it, I understand."

Deku looked up in surprise, tear tracks running down his cheeks. "Really?"
"Well, yeah, I'm not gonna force you to talk. I'm not a monster. But, since I'm doing all this shit for you, it'd be nice if you could clue me into whatever the hell put you on the street. I mean, at some point in time."
Izuku wiped his face and smiled a little. "You really have changed a lot."

"Yeah, I grew the fuck up. Can't be a good hero with a shit personality."

"Yeah," he giggled, relaxing more. Katsuki smiled softly in response and sat down next to Deku.
"Look, I'm not gonna make you talk if you're not ready, but you should really try to take some classes, since you're here."

"Don't you have to pay for them if you're--"

The blond leveled Deku with that look of "don't continue that thought".
"Okay, okay, I get it," he laughed sheepishly. "I'll look into it tomorrow once we set up this phone. I haven't had one of these in a long time."

"I'll make sure you get the wifi password so you can do everything on there. Don't let me forget to give you my number, too."
"Alright... hey, Kacchan?"

"Yeah?"

Deku smiled the most genuine smile Katsuki had seen from him since the night he rescued him. "Thank you, really."

Katsuki blushed and glared at the opposite wall. "Tch. You don't have to thank me everytime I do something for you."
"I know, but I really do appreciate it."

"Yeah, yeah," he huffed. "Just get to work tomorrow signing up for classes."

"Yes, sir!"
=========
A month or so passed. Izuku got lucky and was able to start classes right away. Learning and having something to do, a way to better himself, was really helping him. He was beginning to thrive, and having a steady source of meals was helping him fill out once again.
In the back of his mind, he was anxious about the idea of Kacchan pushing him out of the proverbial nest, but he tried not to bring it up or think too much about it. Kacchan had said he was welcome to stay as long as he needed, and he really needed it until he had a good job.
In his free time, he started watching cooking shows and working on household chores. If he was going to live here, he was gonna do his best to pull as much of his weight as possible.

Katsuki rarely had much time off, and when he did have off, he usually had errands to run.
Sometimes, Katsuki would come home earlier than usual, and it always caught Deku off guard.

"I gotta go, sweetie," he murmured into the phone as Kacchan walked in a full hour early. "I know. I love you too."
Katsuki shot him an odd look, but he didn't press. He'd been trying to be patient with Deku. There was something he didn't know, but obviously it was some kind of sensitive, so he waited.

"How was class?"
"Fine," Deku mumbled, tucking the phone away in his pocket. "Um... are you doing anything on your day off next Tuesday?"

He raised an eyebrow, fully thrown for a loop now. "For once, no. Why?"

"I was wondering if you'd take me somewhere in the afternoon."
"I mean, sure. Gotta know where and why, though."

"There's someone I want you to meet."

That response was cryptic, but Deku was fiddling with the hem of his sweater and blushing at the floor. It seemed he might finally be getting some answers.
"Okay. I'll make sure not to plan anything that afternoon."

Deku smiled shyly from under his lashes. "Thanks, Kacchan."
=========
The address was generic as hell. No way he could tell where the fuck they were going unless he knew the area. Katsuki knew his neighborhood pretty well, but... they were going awfully far out.
Deku didn't stop tapping his foot the whole way. He was quiet, but there was a look of nervous excitement on his face, a humming just under his skin. This must be something pretty damn important if the nerd was acting like this. His scent was all over the place, too.
When Katsuki was finally close to the address, he looked around with an eyebrow raised in confusion.

"A school?"

"Yeah. Pull around to that side," Deku directed, pointing to the side of the building opposite a row of school busses.
Class must be letting out soon. It was a little tricky to tell, but the kids Katsuki could see looked like elementary school kids, maybe a little older. Did Deku have some sibling he'd never known about?

Katsuki pulled into a spot and parked his car, then turned to Deku.
"Alright. What are we doing here?"

"You'll see," he responded behind a blinding grin. Katsuki could nearly hear Deku's heart racing in excitement.
Near the stairs to the entrance, a woman with odd white hair was standing, seemingly waiting on something. When she saw Deku approaching, she gasped and grinned, arms open for a hug.
"Midoriya! Oh my gosh, you look so good!"

Deku grinned sheepishly and hugged the woman back. "Thanks. Did you tell her I was coming?"

"No--oh, Bakugou! My brother told me you were helping Midoriya get back on his feet!"
Katsuki raised an eyebrow without a single ounce of recognition.

"Um... I think you call him icy hot, Kacchan."

"Oh, you're one of the Todoroki kids..."

"Hah, yeah," Fuyumi laughed, pulling away from Midoriya. "Here, wait a minute and I'll go get her."
Fuyumi darted into the school, and Deku grinned after her. A few minutes of silence later, Fuyumi returned with a little girl in tow. She couldn't have been older that eight, maybe nine, with dark, messy hair and brilliant green eyes. Freckles covered her face in galaxies.
The moment she saw Deku, she gasped, eyes wide.

"Mama!" she shrieked, running full force into Deku's arms.
... mama?
"Oh my gosh, Hachi, you're so much taller than when I saw you last," Deku laughed, barely catching her and wheezing softly as he did.

Hachi beamed up at Izuku for a moment, blissfully ignorant of everything. It was only then that she seemed to notice Katsuki.
Immediately, she buried her nose in Izuku's neck, watching Katsuki with wary eyes.

"Hachi, this is my friend Kacchan," Deku urged, trying to dislodge her from his neck to no avail.

Hachi stared nervously, clinging fast to her mama.
"Sorry, Kacchan, she's so shy..." Izuku chuckled, kissing the side of her forehead. Katsuki scowled at the little girl.

"What, don't you recognize me?" he huffed, one hand on his hip and the other held up and popping sparks.
Hachi's eyes widened in amazement.

"Woah... Ground Zero?"

"The one and only."

"Mama, you know Ground Zero?"

Izuku laughed and let Hachi go. "We went to school together a long time ago."
Katsuki smirked, knowing he had won the little girl over. He couldn't say why, but something in him instinctively and immediately wanted Hachi to like him.

Hachi seemed to be speechless, eyes wide and focused on Katsuki.
"She's a big Ground Zero fan..." Fuyumi giggled, crossing her arms. Hachi blushed and shot her a look in response.

"Well, why don't we go get dinner then? My treat."
Once again, Hachi was watching him with wide, green eyes. Deku chuckled and ruffled her mess of hair.

"How about you ride in Fuyumi's car, Hachi?"

Hachi pouted, but she let Fuyumi lead her back to her car.
As Katsuki and Izuku got back into his own car, silence hung over them for a long minute.
"So... is that why you dropped out of school?"

Deku sighed and slumped in his seat. "Yeah. I... got pregnant first year of high school."

Katsuki raised an eyebrow at Deku's wording. Something was still off.
"Who's her sire?"

The omega swallowed heavy and shook his head. So he wasn't ready to go there yet.

"Nevermind, then."

"I'm sorry..."

"Don't be. I'm glad you let me meet her at all."

"Really...?"
"Well, yeah."

Izuku hung his head and smiled, the threat of tears in the corners of his eyes.

"She's probably going to talk your ear off," he laughed. "She really is a huge Ground Zero fan."

Katsuki smirked cheekily and let out a soft, unintentional growl.
"Let me text Fuyumi to figure out where we're going. I think Hachi will probably want to go to this ramen shop she likes."

"Whatever she wants."
==========
Hachi did, in fact, talk Katsuki's ear off.

She was really, genuinely disappointed when dinner was done and she had to go home with Fuyumi. Something about the expression on that little girl's face broke his heart. Deku was sad, too, but he promised they'd see each other soon.
The rest of the evening, Katsuki couldn't get Hachi's little pout and crocodile tears out of his mind. He tried to get paperwork done, but eventually he threw his pen across the room in a huff of frustration.
Deku should be asleep by now... it was pretty late, after all.

He stepped out onto the balcony and fished out his phone.
"Shouto speaking," the voice on the other end of the phone said when he picked up.

"What the /fuck/, icy hot."

"Bakugou? Why are you up this late?"

"I could ask you the same thing, asshole."
Shouto sighed, and Katsuki could almost hear him shaking his head. "What did I do."

"Why the fuck didn't you tell me Deku had a kid?"

"Deku?"

"Midoriya."
"He asked me not to tell anyone. That includes you."

Katsuki growled, free palm popping sparks.

"Why was he living on the street while your sister was taking care of Hachi?"

"He insisted he didn't want help."
"And you took no for an answer?"

"He was adamant. I tried. When I found them, Hachi was tiny. Izuku begged me to take her and give her a better life. Fuyumi and I have been splitting our time with her since then."
They must have been on the street when Hachi was still a baby. Katsuki growled deeper.

"She's coming to live with me."

"Bakugou--"

"Unlike you, I /don't/ take no for an answer."

Shouto sighed once again, already exhausted with Katsuki. "You should really discuss with Izuku."
"I will. But I'm not taking no for an answer. She's coming here. Plan on it."

"Fine. We'll start making preparations in the morning."

"Good."

Katsuki hung up abruptly, struggling to contain his temper.
When he turned back to the glass sliding door, Deku was standing near it, eyes wide and teary.

He hadn't shut the door the whole way. Shit.

"Fuck, I didn't wake you up, did I?"

"N-no... but, are you really--"
"Yes," Katsuki growled. "She needs her dam. I don't care what we have to do to make it work. There's no way I'm letting that damn half and half bastard keep her from you."

Part of Katsuki expected Deku to protest.
He didn't. He sobbed heavily and flung himself into Katsuki's arms, face buried in his shoulder.

Katsuki still wasn't used to physical affection (as much as his friends forced themselves on him), so it took him a moment to respond.
"Easy," he huffed, holding Deku up with arms around his waist.

"Thank you," he warbled, voice barely a whisper.

"Of course. She needs you, Deku."

"Wh-where will she stay, though?" he asked, glancing up at Katsuki.
"I'll move the stuff in my office. I don't really use it, anyway."

"You're in your office all the time..."

"So I'll move my desk to my bedroom. I don't give a shit. I'll make it work."

Deku sniffled and buried his face again, nose closer to Katsuki's scent gland this time.
"Thank you so much..."
=========
When Deku went to see Hachi the next day and told her she'd be moving in, she broke down in hysterics, just like her mom had. She was actually ecstatic, but she was too overwhelmed to do anything but cry.

She really was Deku's kid.
After Hachi moved in, weeks bled together into months, and before Bakugou could sneeze, a year had passed. They had a comfortable routine; Deku took classes during the day, then met Hachi after school. He'd also gotten a lot better at cooking and now cooked most nights.
Katsuki's inner alpha loved it. Deku had fallen into the housewife type so well; he even fussed over Kacchan if he neglected self care. There was some quiet tension that Katsuki couldn't figure the root of, but like everything, he figured Deku would tell him when he was ready.
The tension came to a head when Deku signed up for the last few classes he needed to complete his degree. He sat and stared at his phone for way too long, and Katsuki could nearly hear how hard he was thinking.

"Oi, Deku."
"Huh?"

"You're thinking too much. What's going on?"

Deku sighed and looked down at his lap.

"I'm almost done... I guess I'll have to really start job hunting soon so I can support myself and Hachi."
"That's what you've been all broody about?"

"Yeah..." he admitted.

"Deku, I told you already, I don't care how long you stay. If you decide you want to move out, that's fine, but I'm more than capable of supporting all three of us."
The omega blushed a pretty pink, clearly flustered at what Kacchan was insinuating.

"Have you thought about what you might want to do for work?"

"Huh? W-well... you know I wanted to be a hero. I never got a quirk, so I can't do that."
"I mean, sure, but that doesn't mean you can't work with heroes."

"How?"

"Deku, do you think I made my support gear by myself?"

"Well... no, I guess not."

"We rely heavily on support techs to maintain and upgrade our gear."
"I know."

"But did you know not every hero designs their own gear?"

"Wait, really? That doesn't make any sense, how would someone know your quirk better than you do?"

Katsuki leveled Izuku with a deadpan stare. Izuku blushed bright red.

"Oh."
"Yeah. All those hero analysis books you had in middle school?"

"Yeah... you have a point."

"You'd be perfect as a support tech. Hell, I'd love to have you at my agency even without the certification."

"R-really?"
"Hell yeah. I bet you still know more about my quirk than I do."

"I mean... maybe. I dunno."

"Come with me to the agency tomorrow. I'll show you the schematics for my gear, and you can see what you think. Think of it like an impromptu interview."
"Kacchan, I couldn't..."

"Deku, you already have a position, if you want it. You just have to impress my support crew."

"... okay. But I want an actual interview. It's not fair if you hire me just because we were childhood friends."
"That's not why I want to hire you," Katsuki huffed, rolling his eyes. "But, fine."
It wasn't long before Deku started working part time at Katsuki's agency. He needed time to finish out his classes and make sure he could get a support certification, but the support crew loved him immediately and were dying to pick his brain.
Deku really started flourishing when he was able to work at a job he really enjoyed. He started taking over the household shopping and did his best to use his paycheck whenever he could for it. Hachi really enjoyed going shopping with him, too.
It was a bit odd, the three of them living together when Katsuki and Izuku weren't mated, let alone dating at all. But, admittedly, Izuku was happier than he could remember ever being. For once, he felt... safe.
That all ended one day when he and Hachi returned from the grocery store to find a dark-haired man with a crooked smile inside Kacchan's apartment.
=========
Patrol had been quiet.

Bakugou had learned over the years that, while sometimes a quiet patrol was a good thing, sometimes being too quiet was a bad sign. He kept an eye on his phone and the police scanner on his earpiece.
Toward the end of his shift, a tired voice spoke over the police scanner.

"Got a noise complaint, eighth floor of the Mori building in Musutafu. Neighbors heard screaming."

Bakugou stopped walking. "Did they point out a number?"

"One said it had to be next door, in 813."
"... that's /my/ apartment."

The line went silent for a few seconds. Katsuki's heart fell to the pit of his stomach.

He muttered a curse and quickly muted his communicator before blasting off in the direction of his apartment.
Thank god he'd been on his way back to the agency. His apartment was ten minutes walking distance away and only a few minutes vaulting himself through the air on explosions that were sure to make his arms ache later.
Katsuki landed on the patio and broke the lock on the sliding door, and a pungent wall of scent nearly knocked him off his feet. Panicked omega was stronger than anything else, but there was another scent, forceful and heavy.
An alpha was in the apartment.
Hachi was nowhere to be seen. Broken glass was scattered across the floor from a clear struggle, and bags of groceries were jamming up the door, left forgotten. He could hear Deku crying; it sounded like it was coming from the kitchen.
The sound he'd made when breaking the lock should've been enough to alert the intruder. He cast stealth aside and snarled, vaulting himself through the apartment and into the kitchen.
Deku was on the floor on his hands and knees, palms smearing blood on linoleum. Tears tracked heavy down his cheeks. A man with dark hair had him caged in from behind and had torn away most of his clothes.
One of the man's hands was out of sight, somewhere between Deku's legs, and the idea of what he was doing had Katsuki seeing red. He roared and grabbed the intruder by the back of his shirt, easily flinging him across the room.
The alpha looked surprised; he must've been too engrossed in what he'd been doing. That only angered Bakugou more. He pounced at the man, years of training and practice with combat all but forgotten. Some kind of animal was coming alive in him.
All he knew was that this man had intruded on his den, where his family was supposed to be safe. He wouldn't get away with it alive.

Somewhere between the patio and the kitchen, his gauntlets and gloves must have come off. He couldn't remember doing it.
His claws were sinking into flesh, and he could hear blood curdling screams, but nothing was registering. The police sirens weren't loud enough over everything else happening.
The floor was getting slippery, and he noticed it was hard to keep a grip on the man. No matter. He sunk his claws in deeper and bit down on his shoulder for leverage.

"Kacchan, stop, you're gonna kill him!"
Deku's voice was weak, but in the state Katsuki was in, it was like a command. He growled a warning at the alpha and drew back, sitting effectively on top of him to keep him still. His claws still dug firm into the man's shoulders.
"Look at me, Kacchan."

Deku looked terrible. Bruises were forming everywhere, and so much of his skin was exposed. There were bite marks, too, and if it wasn't for Deku's soft voice keeping him grounded, he'd tear into the other alpha all over again.
It didn't seem like he'd gotten Deku's scent gland. That was good, at least.

It was only then that he realized the alpha underneath him wasn't moving.

Oh god. He really might've killed the guy.
"Shit," he breathed, spitting blood that probably wasn't his own out of his mouth.

Police rushed in then, and for a moment, Bakugou turned back and snarled at the officers. His head was still somewhere else.
They seemed to understand, though. Deku was able to pull Katsuki away so medics could retrieve the intruder, who likely didn't need to be cuffed but was cuffed anyway.
"My daughter," Izuku rasped to one of the medics. "She's..."

"We have her, she's safe. You're all going to the hospital," the woman, an omega with a soothing voice, reassured. Deku looked like he was moments from falling apart.
Despite the feral rage he'd gone into, Bakugou insisted on helping the medics get everyone out safely. He carried Hachi downstairs, and she clung to him like her life depended on it. Her face stayed buried in his shoulder, and when they got to the ambulance, she wouldn't let go.
"I'll ride in the back with her," he growled low to an officer. They let him, and even if Bakugou was pretty sure it was only because they thought Deku was his mate, he was still satisfied. His alpha needed to stay near Deku for now.
=========
That night felt like it took three years.

Izuku needed immediate medical attention, and the police weren't legally allowed to question Katsuki so soon after an episode like that. Since he was a pro and the police knew him, he was allowed to come in later to give a statement.
Hachi wasn't hurt, but she was in a deep state of shock. She wouldn't let Katsuki put her down until he absolutely needed to (when he needed the restroom). Izuku wasn't particularly keen on letting him out of his sight, either.
Katsuki's apartment was a crime scene. For the time being, the police couldn't really let them return home, so they rented out a hotel room for them when Izuku was able to leave the hospital.
Deku's wounds weren't actually terrible, though they did have to do an examination that required Katsuki and Hachi to leave the room.

All in all, it was exhausting, and by the end of it, everyone involved was upset and ready to curl up in bed.
Izuku's doctor cleared him to leave after a few hours, and in fact, he recommended they all recoup outside of the hospital. Shock could take time to recover from, and a hospital setting wasn't always helpful.
They didn't exactly have belongings to bring to the hotel, but thankfully, one of his sidekicks had dropped off a bag at the front desk for them. Katsuki had asked them to get plain outfits and a set of sleep clothes in their sizes.

Heavy silence hung over the room.
"Deku... go take a shower. I'll take care of Hachi."

The omega's expression wavered, like he still wasn't ready to be exposed and alone, but he knew Kacchan was right. He definitely needed a shower. The alpha's blood was still spattered across his cheek.
Katsuki was still carrying Hachi, though now it was mostly because she was too exhausted to walk. Izuku ran a hand through her hair, kissed her forehead, then retreated into the bathroom with his change of clothes.
"Alright, little bee," Katsuki sighed, "let's get you changed."

Hachi was half asleep when Katsuki put her down on the edge of one of the beds. He was able to get her changed, though he definitely did most of the work.
"Papa... when can we go home?"
Bakugou's heart jumped into his throat.

"I'm not sure. I should be able to find out tomorrow, okay?"

Hachi mumbled a reply, eyes drifting closed again.

"Can I sleep with you tonight?"

"Of course."
Katsuki felt like he could cry. Of everything that had happened today, this was what he was breaking down over.

Hachi crawled up the bed and curled up under the covers, too sleepy to demand her papa follow.
He should make sure Deku was okay.
When the shower stopped running and Deku came out in pajamas, the room was only lit by one small lamp. Bakugou had taken off most of his hero gear while he waited and was sitting on the unused bed.
Deku came and sat down beside the alpha. His eyes had a hollowness to them.

"She--"

"I need you to bite me," Deku rushed out in one quick breath, voice soft but wavering.

"You what?"
Izuku met Katsuki's eyes, and he understood then. He was crying, barely holding back a flood of emotion.

"I can't let him do that again."

"Again?" Katsuki hissed.

A beat of silence passed.
"That was her sire, wasn't it?"

Deku hiccupped softly and bit his thumb to keep himself quiet.

For a long moment, Katsuki didn't know what to say. Neither of them seemed to know what to say.
Katsuki sighed, then, and pulled Deku into his arms. The omega shuddered with the effort of holding back tears.

"P-please, Kacchan... he bit me before. He still has a link back to me."

That motherfucker. Katsuki cursed himself silently for not killing the guy.
"I can't let him... not again..."

Deku was sobbing quietly into Kacchan's shoulder now, clinging weakly to his shirt. Katsuki couldn't do anything but hold him tight. He knew Deku needed to let this out.
"I can't do that, Deku," he sighed.

Deku's breath hitched, shoulders tense. He must have expected rejection.

"You're not in any state to make a decision like that."
The little omega pulled back and blinked up at Katsuki, pleading with his eyes.

"H-he'll find us--"

"And I'll kill him if he gets near either of you ever again. Right now, you're still in shock. I'm not doing that unless you can consent properly."
The reassurance seemed somewhat lost on Deku. He deflated, eyes down at Katsuki's chest, but he didn't respond.
"Hachi asked to sleep with me tonight," Katsuki murmured after a minute. "She... she called me papa."

Deku looked up again, eyes wide in surprise, then glanced over to his pup. He looked like he had words on the tip of his tongue but couldn't speak them.
"Um... can I sleep with you, too? Just for tonight?"

"You didn't even have to ask," Katsuki huffed, grinning softly. "Go be with her. I need a shower, too."

Deku nodded; it was obvious something was still on his mind, but that was to be expected. They'd all had a long night.
"I know you're annoyed with me thanking you by now, but... you saved us. I can't thank you enough. I can't imagine what he would've done to Hachi."

"Hey, I /am/ a hero, after all, and a damn fine one at that."
That earned him a weak smile. It wasn't much, but it was a start. Deku was still in there.

"Yeah, you really are."

Katsuki drew Izuku close again, gave him a tight hug, then let him go. The omega crawled into bed the same way his pup had and curled up with her.
He was careful and quiet as he got his own shower. Katsuki didn't like sleeping with a lot of clothes on (he got hot quickly with his quirk), but he didn't mind at all if it meant the tiny family he'd found himself in could sleep a little more soundly.

**TW depictions of a bloody mess in this update**
News of the break-in at the Bakugou residence spread quickly.

With that news, the public also discovered that Ground Zero was living with an omega and child.
Fans went rabid over that knowledge. Everyone wanted to know who the omega was, whose child Hachi was, if they were mated... a lot of questions that Bakugou wasn't ready to answer yet. Frankly, he wasn't sure himself if they were in a relationship or not.
Besides, Izuku and Hachi didn't need publicity right now. He'd let them share his spotlight if or when they were ready.

A day after the break-in, Bakugou was allowed back into his apartment. He went alone at first to check out the damage.
The aftermath of his rampage was honestly horrible. The pool of blood on the kitchen floor had dried, but it was splattered everywhere. It really did look like a murder had taken place.

The whole place still reeked of terrified omega and the stench of alpha rage.
He had a lot of work to do if he wanted to clean this up alone...

Thankfully, the police force had offered a crew to come in and help. They offered to do it themselves, but Bakugou insisted on helping. He wanted the place to smell like himself, not like sterile chemicals.
Katsuki had continued to be a rock for both Hachi and Izuku. Hopefully, if their home smelled like at least their alpha, they'd feel safe. Realistically, he'd already been thinking about trying to buy a house that would fit them all more comfortably...
but for now, he didn't want to create more instability for his family.

Izuku was unusually quiet in the week that followed. Katsuki expected it, honestly. It would probably take him a long time to recover.
As soon as he was able, he set up therapy appointments for all three of them individually through his agency. He wanted them to all meet at once, but the therapists advised against it. Having space for each of them to recover separately was important, apparently.
Hachi seemed to bounce back the quickest. Within a few days, she was already beginning to act more like herself, even if she was far more attached to Katsuki now.

Katsuki himself seemed fine on the outside, but it was only because he was used to dealing with trauma.
He was a hero; if he went out of commission every time he saw some poor omega getting taken advantage of, he'd be out more days than not.

Inside, he had a lot of emotions kicking around, but for the time being, he kept them inside.
Izuku was another story completely.

He was obviously dealing with the trauma in his own way, but there was something else brewing around in his head. Hachi had gone back to her own room once Katsuki and Izuku had scented it for her, but Izuku was still sleeping in Katsuki's bed.
The alpha really didn't mind, but he knew it probably wasn't healthy. They hadn't talked about anything since that night. Katsuki left it go for nearly two weeks before he cracked.
Hachi was already asleep, and Izuku was curling up in the little nest he'd unconsciously put together. Katsuki sat at the edge of the bed, far enough away to give him some space.

"Have you thought about it?"
Deku blinked up at Katsuki, not following his train of thought. Katsuki sighed.

"What we talked about that night, nerd. Remember I wanted you to be sure?"
The omega blushed and averted his eyes. "Yeah..."

"You've been brooding over it, I can tell. You're thinking too hard."

"It's because of Kacchan..." he mumbled, tucking his face into a blanket.
"Hah? What does this have to do with me?"

"If you do that... I don't want you to regret it."

Deku was on the verge of tears. Katsuki raised an eyebrow.

"You think I'd regret biting you?"
"W-well... it would make it hard for Hachi and I to get our own place eventually."

"I think we're beyond that point, Deku. Hachi calls me papa."

"Yeah... I guess we are, huh?"
Katsuki's expression softened to a degree he didn't show most people. "You're not going anywhere, nerd. Neither am I."

Deku turned the color of a cherry tomato and buried his face again.

"I just... we aren't like that."
... how was Deku this dense?

"You absolute dumbass."

"W-wha?"

Izuku looked up again, blinking tears out of his eyes.
"You are so fucking dense, you know that?"

"What are you talking about?"

"I've been trying to court you since I brought you home from the hospital, dipshit. Why else would I have done all this?"
Despite the logic to Katsuki's words, Deku was in complete shock. He stuttered for a moment, and Katsuki just smirked and laughed.

"You really had no idea?"

The omega shook his head no, beet red blush travelling down his neck.
For a moment, they just stared at each other. Deku didn't seem to know what to do with the new information. His brain was moving too quickly.

"Deku," Katsuki huffed. "You're sure you want this, then?"
"Y-yeah. I've been thinking about it for a while."

This time, a little blush crept high on Katsuki's cheeks. He was no good at this. Thankfully, Deku wasn't smooth, either.

"Then... you want us to have real mating marks?"
He nodded slowly, eyelids beginning to grow heavy. "For a long time now."

Katsuki snorted and shook his head. "We're both idiots."

"Yeah," Deku laughed softly. "But at least I'm your idiot."
"You are," the alpha chuckled. "You're stuck with me now. Hope you aren't gonna change your mind, nerd."

"I won't. Promise." He smiled, and a glimmer of that happy, thriving Deku shone in his eyes.

Katsuki grinned back, then part of his inner alpha took over.
He moved closer, caged Deku in with his arms. Deku looked nervous, but no part of his body language said stop, so Katsuki moved in and pressed a surprisingly soft kiss to Deku's lips.

Immediately, they melted together. It was like they were meant to be like this the whole time.
Katsuki couldn't say how long they stayed like that. By the time he pulled away, Deku was flushed a pretty pink, lips puffy from abuse. He already looked ready to make the mating official, but Katsuki pulled away.
"I have morning patrol tomorrow. We'll have to wait a few days."

"You're gonna make me wait longer?"

"You want me to rush? Because I want to take my time with you."

Deku squeaked and buried his face in his hands.
"That's what I thought. See if Sparks can watch Hachi this weekend."

"... you mean Fuyumi?"

"You knew who I meant."

"Fine, fine," Deku huffed, laughing softly. "Come here."
Katsuki crawled into their nest and had to restrain himself as Deku snuggled close. His heart thundered in his throat, and his alpha was growling in annoyance, but he knew it would be worth the wait.
=========
**NSFW coming**
Deku was too embarrassed to tell Fuyumi why he needed her to watch Hachi for a day that weekend.

She figured it out on her own, anyway.
Hachi didn't really notice, though. She was just excited to get to see auntie Fuyumi for a day. The changes in the ways her mama and papa were behaving weren't that obvious yet.
When Fuyumi came to pick up Hachi, Deku walked her downstairs, then quickly retreated back to the apartment. Katsuki was waiting just behind the door when he got back, so the moment the door was closed, the alpha was caging him against the wall with his arms.
Deku squeaked in surprise, but Katsuki didn't give him much time to react. He pressed a hard and intense kiss to his omega's lips, crowding into his space and giving him little chance to breathe.
"K-Kacchan..." he whimpered when the blond gave him a centimeter of space.

"Do you have any fucking clue how hard it was to not jump your bones this week? I've never wanted Hachi out of this house so goddamn bad."
Katsuki growled possessively and trailed kisses down Izuku's throat, only to lave his tongue over his scent gland when he got there. It sent a full body shudder through Izuku, and he groaned and clung to Katsuki's shirt.
"Kacchan, w-wait..."

He huffed and groaned in frustration, but he pulled back nonetheless.

"Just... go slow, okay?"

It was obvious how nervous Izuku was, then. His scent had turned bitter, though it was tough to tell through the scent of arousal.
Katsuki sighed and kissed him slow this time, a gentle apology. "I got you."

Izuku smiled and tugged Katsuki in to scent him, purring softly. "Take me to bed?"

"Well, when you put it like that..."
He hoisted the omega into his arms easily. Izuku squealed in surprise again and clung fast, arms tight around Katsuki's neck. He was giggling this time, though, soothed by the calming alpha pheromones Katsuki had started putting off.
Getting to the bedroom was less graceful than Bakugou would've liked, but he was careful to set Izuku down gently, rather that tossing him down and ravaging him like he was dying to do. He had to earn the right to do that.
Katsuki was eager to pull off his clothes. He really had little shame, and at this point, he was dying to knot. He hadn't exactly slept with anyone in over a year.

While he stripped, Izuku's eyes roamed. Blush dusted his cheeks, but more than anything, he looked hungry.
"Your turn," Katsuki teased once he was nude, leaning in to press a kiss to Deku's cheek.

"... m'nervous," he muttered, fingers twisting the hem of his shirt.

"There's no one here but us, nerd. I got you, remember?"
Izuku was quiet for a moment, like he was trying to reason with anxiety. With a nervous huff, he tugged his shirt over his head, and Katsuki immediately understood why he was nervous.
Old stretch marks still scored Izuku's belly, low where the little pooch from his uterus was and straight down the middle. Cupping the bottom of his belly was a poorly healed incision scar that looked like it was from a c-section. He cast teary eyes down to his lap.
"I'm--"

"Perfect." Katsuki didn't let him finish his thought. He knelt down and ran a reverent hand over each scar, trailing kisses over them as he went. Izuku watched and couldn't contain sobs.

"But they're ugly..."
"They're part of you, and you're gorgeous. I wouldn't have you any other way."

Deku whimpered in embarrassment and covered his face with his hands.

"Kacchan's so embarrassing..."

"You love it," he laughed, tugging Deku's wrists away and kissing him playfully.
"Yeah... I do."

Izuku smiled shyly back. It warmed Katsuki's heart, brought up emotions he'd never felt before.

"Me, too."

It was the closest to a confession he would get for now. Izuku smiled wider and, emboldened by the moment, started wiggling his pants down past his hips.
The scars seemed to end at Izuku's waistline, right where the c-section scar was. In fact, he seemed far more comfortable revealing the lower half of his body than he'd been with the upper half.
When Izuku was fully exposed, Katsuki took a step back and let his eyes roam the way the omega's had. The scars weren't all that distracting from Izuku's figure. Since he filled out, he started working out routinely, and it showed in all the right places.
Soft curves still hugged Izuku's hips and down his thighs, the ideal omegan figure.

It must have shown on Katsuki's face that he was speechless; Izuku blushed and pressed his hands to cover his sex.
"D-don't stare so much..."

"I can't help it," Katsuki breathed, hands smoothing down Izuku's thighs. "You really are beautiful. Move back on the bed, I'll help you relax."

He still seemed embarrassed, but Izuku complied, scooting back for Katsuki.
The blond followed, crawling up the bed with hands on either of Izuku's knees. He gently pressed them open, and to his relief, Izuku didn't fight him. He'd been worried Izuku would clam up and get too nervous.
As soon as he had a better look between Izuku's legs, he understood how Izuku hadn't known he was an omega until so late in his teenage years. He almost missed the slick, puffy slit of his cunt, too.
Katsuki had always sort of had a thing for male omegas; he wasn't vocal about it, but he really preferred men to women. He hadn't seen one nude in real life, but he'd seen enough porn to know they all looked quite different from one another.
Some of them hardly had a penis at all, more of an oversized clit. Some looked very much intersex, with parts of both sets of anatomy.

Izuku looked more male than anything. If it weren't for the smell of slick, he might not notice he was an omega at all.
Still...

"Adorable," he muttered, kneeling close and hooking Izuku's legs over his shoulders.

"R-really? How is that... adorable?"

"You're so small here. And your scent is so strong..."
He couldn't help it. Katsuki dipped down, cupped Izuku's balls in one hand, then lifted them to drag his tongue along the slit. The taste was somehow sweet and savory at the same time... unlike anything he'd ever tasted, and it wasn't like this was his first time doing this.
Katsuki's free hand moved up to stroke Izuku's dick. His goal was to distract the omega, and by the way Izuku was gasping and moaning, it was working.

"K-Kacchan... feels good... and weird."

"Let it feel good," he rumbled, letting his breath fan against Izuku's lips.
The sensation earned Katsuki a gasp and a high whine. Time to turn up the heat. He shifted positions, letting his fingers dip past Izuku's lips and moving his mouth up to his dick. In one fluid movement, he took Izuku to the hilt in his mouth, nose brushing pubic hairs.
"Shit, Kacchan!" Deku cried and bucked his hips, shuddering in pleasure. He wasn't large, pretty average size for an omega, which meant Katsuki had little issue bobbing most of his length in and out of his mouth.
Below, he pressed one finger slowly inside, acutely aware of the kind of traumatic memories that finger could bring up.

His distraction was working well. Izuku didn't even flinch at the finger; if anything, he moaned louder, rolling his hips in more of a circle.
He dragged that finger in and out for a while before adding another, all the while bobbing his head and sucking harshly at the head of Deku's dick. The pace stayed slow like that until Katsuki was able to gauge Izuku's comfort level.
"K-Kacchan," he sobbed, hips stuttering. "F-feels weird--!"

It almost sounded like Izuku had never had an orgasm before... but much to his dismay, Katsuki could believe that.
He couldn't stop now, though. Katsuki sucked harder and curled his fingers upward, rubbing slowly until Deku's breath hitched and cracked.

"Th-there!!"

Katsuki didn't need to be told twice. He pressed that spot harder and took Deku in as deep as he could.
When Izuku came, he keened high and bucked his hips, hands gripping Katsuki's hair for dear life. The motion pressed the very tip of his cock to the back of Katsuki's throat, and despite the discomfort, he felt his own dick twitch hard against the sheets at the sheer thought.
As Izuku started to relax into post-coital bliss, Katsuki pulled away and wiped the spit and cum off his face, then crawled up and over Izuku.

"How're you feeling now?"

Izuku purred softly in response, hands resting weakly on Katsuki's hips.
The alpha chuckled in response and rested part of his weight on Izuku so he could kiss him softly, hands roaming everywhere. Izuku was so relaxed, like jelly in his hands now. Perfect.
Katsuki stayed like that for a while, then slowly, just gently, he trailed kisses down to Izuku's scent gland. Izuku didn't seem to mind, putting off happy omega pheromones and purring at the closeness.
He pulled away, scented Izuku slowly... then moved in close and bit down on his scent gland.
Immediately, Izuku gasped and arched, body rigid. Katsuki didn't stay like that for long; he pulled off and licked the wound, worried Izuku might panic.

"Kacchan," the omega whimpered, relaxing slightly as he breathed.
"You okay, Deku?"

"Y-yeah..."

"Does it hurt?"

"No... because it's Kacchan's..."

Katsuki growled low, inner alpha preening at those words. By now, his cock was absolutely aching, leaking precum against Deku's abdomen.
Deku must have taken the growl the wrong way; he shifted uncomfortably, trying to get to Katsuki's neck.

"Hey, hey," he soothed, pressing kisses to Izuku's cheek and jaw. "When you're ready. Don't rush it."
"Thank you..." he breathed, relaxing significantly.

"I told you to stop thanking me," Katsuki chuckled, kissing Deku's lips deeply this time. Izuku giggled into the kiss, but it faded quickly as he got more and more into it.
"You ready?"

Izuku took a moment to breathe after Katsuki pulled away. He already looked fucked out, eyes heavy and lips puffy.

"Yeah."

Katsuki nodded and reached to the nightstand to grab a condom. When Izuku saw, though, he whined and shook his head.
"Kacchan... I haven't really had a heat since before I had Hachi. I, um... kind of think I'm sterile."

The look on his face reminded Katsuki of earlier, when Deku had taken off his shirt. He frowned and ran a hand through Deku's hair.
"Then I won't worry about the condom for now. Remind me later and we'll set up an appointment for you, okay?"
He still looked disheartened, but Izuku nodded, legs splayed wide anyways.

"M'ready. Kacchan... want your knot."

That might as well have been an aphrodisiac. Katsuki swallowed thickly, worried for his self control.
He caged Deku in once again and kissed him deep, blindly lining up his tip to the omega's lips. As he started sliding in, he wrapped his hand around Izuku's little cock and stroked, distracting from any painful stretching.
Even without the distraction, Izuku was gasping and pressing his hips closer.

"K-Kacchan's... feels so good..."

"Yeah? Tell me, baby..."

"S-so good... w-wanna go faster."
Izuku was leaking slick like crazy, tiny dick already growing hard again. Katsuki was relieved to see how worked up the omega was getting... he knew he wasn't going to last long with how long he'd basically been edged.
He rolled his hips fast, following Izuku's request and reveling in the way it made him arch and cry his name. On instinct, he kept his teeth close to Izuku's throat, growling and scenting him whenever he'd slow down for a moment.
As bad as Katsuki wanted to knot, he was determined to make Izuku cum first. That spot just inside him... if he could just...

Katsuki pulled his mate closer and changed the angle of his hips, thrusting hard but erratically.
"KACCHAN! Th-there!!"

Izuku's cries devolved into a mess of sobs, barely coherent. Katsuki had him. He pistoned his hips into that spot, and right as his knot started to quickly inflate, the nerves in Katsuki's neck lit on fire.
His omega was biting his scent gland. /His/ omega.

Katsuki's knot locked, and he came with a howl. Izuku wasn't far behind him, shuddering and whimpering into Katsuki's flesh.
Deku didn't let go, not until he'd started coming down from his orgasm. Katsuki was shuddering with the waves of his own, and he groaned deeply when Izuku pulled back and licked the blood oozing from his wound.
"Fuck," he hissed, still breathing heavily.

"S-sorry..."

"Don't be," Katsuki huffed. "Felt... fucking good. Dunno how to describe it."

"Yeah... I felt like that, too. Like a good hurt."

The alpha shuddered one last time, then collapsed into his mate.
If he was too heavy, Izuku didn't mention it... or seem to mind.

"Hey... Kacchan?"

"Mm?"

"I love you."

Katsuki looked up with tired eyes and a genuine smile. "Love you too."
When Fuyumi brought Hachi back the next day, they sat her down and had a little family meeting.

"Hachi, you know how I didn't want you to call Kacchan papa?"

Hachi frowned, shoulders slumped. "Yeah..."
Izuku ran a hand through her hair and smiled. "We're mates now. You know what that means, right honey?"

Her eyes widened, and a bright smile took over her whole face. "Kacchan is my papa now?"
"If you want me to be," Katsuki rumbled, "I'm happy to be papa."

Hachi flung herself into Katsuki's arms, crying the way she had when she moved in with the pair. He wouldn't admit it to anyone else, but Katsuki cried, too. He officially had a family.
