Thread: Indiana Pacers offensive film analysis vs. Los Angeles Lakers.
I love the two man game here between Brogdon and Oladipo. Solid drive and fake by Brogdon to get it in. LeBron and Caruso do a good job of not biting on penetration.
I’m really impressed by Holiday for getting this to go over LeBron. Normally, you give it to Turner in that situation and let him use his mobility on a guy like McGee.
This is a reason why I’d rather have Holiday as the starting point guard. Yes, it’s a small sample size, but I see Brogdon try to take that up and fail so many times. Holiday stays patient and gives it to Oladipo, who can easily take a guy like Caruso.
One reason why Warren is so valuable is being able to make the right cuts and take advantage of ball watching. LeBron shifting to Oladipo leads AD to keep an eye on Holiday, forgetting about Warren. Good split by Brogdon and an even better find.
Aaron Holiday apparently has a lefty hook now. It’s cool to see how Indiana really utilized mismatches in this game so far and how Indiana has taken advantage.
