This thing is HUGE! At around 940 ft high and 700m wide, it holds back 12,670,000,000 cubic metres of water in a 200 km long reservoir.

Dams along the Yangtze are close to their maximum limits. #ThreeGorgesDam has been of particular concern since satellite images have shown signs of deformation. It has been alleged that Google have now replaced this image with an older one

Between Xiluodu Dam and #ThreeGorgesDam lies another monster, the Xiangjiaba Dam
At 528 ft high and over half a mile wide it is smaller than the #ThreeGorges, but is of similar construction.
If #XiluoduDam above it blows, it will likely top over and probably fail
