/ Whoever wrote the Feb 14, 2018 briefing for the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence needs to be in jail. The whole thing is a litany of lies.

Right off the bat, in paragraph one, there's a major lie. Danchenko is held out as "one of" Steele's primary sub-sources.
/ That lie is betrayed later in the briefing document, where it is revealed that Danchenko is actually the only such source. This is crucial because one of the FBI's excuses for the fact that Danchenko's story didn't match Steele's was that Steele must have had other sources.
/ The briefer also holds the sub-sources out as somehow being in major peril. We now know from having identified all five, that none of them was in peril. They were all total nobodies who knew nothing. Their only mistake was that they agreed to have drinks with Danchenko.
/ The briefer then blatantly lies about Danchenko having voluntarily submitted to an FBI interview. In fact, unlike Trump people who we're all ambushed, Danchenko didn't talk to them at all until he got a super sweetheart immunity deal from David Laufman. That's not voluntary.
/ Next up, the Senate was lied to about the nature of Danchenko's sources, which are described as some sort of well developed "source network" when, in his January 2017 interview, Danchenko admitted it was merely a "social circle".
/ One of the worst lies is that Danchenko backed Steele's portrayal of Danchenko's information. He did the exact opposite. He disavowed the dossier, saying his information was just rumors and speculation that Steele had presented as facts.
/ Just as bad is the portrayal of Danchenko's social circle as people in the know who were capable of reporting on Putin's innermost secrets. These people knew as much about Putin's secrets as some random guy from the phone book. They were total nobodies.
/ If Roger Stone was supposed to get 9 years for lying to Congress about an imaginary contact he never had, this guy deserves 900 years.
