I’m sure this has been done before, but any advice for incoming 1Ls , #lawtwitter?
My main advice is to relax before starting law school. Nothing you do is really going to prepare you for what you’re about to get into.
But reading “Getting to Maybe” by Fischl and Paul is incredibly helpful.
Microsoft word generates table of contents for you.
Find a time management system early on that works. The workload is manageable, but you have to make your time work for you. For me, that was strict timeblocking.
Those $6 Starbucks coffees you get to treat yourself add up.
also don’t humble brag. It’s annoying and everyone sees through it.
