Using Hezbollah as a scapegoat for all that has hitherto gone wrong in Lebanon is nothing short of confused Orientalism. It discounts the overwhelming problems in the government at large, debt to parasitic foreign creditors like the IMF, and years of sanctions from the West.
By the way, any portrayal of Hezbollah (similar to Hamas) as a "terrorist organization" rather than a legitimate political party is not only racist, but also a perfunctory approach to understanding the region. You don't have to agree with a party to recognize its legitimacy.
Glenn E. Robinson discusses this at length in their essay "Hamas as Social Movement." Designating a political organization as a "terrorist group" obfuscates what we are really looking at:
