here's a small thread on the syco+sony situation to explain a little bit about it and the difference for the people that are too lazy to do some simple research on them. firt of all sony is the owner of syco and bought it from simon years ago but left simon in charge of it+
+sony allowed simon to keep 1d "mainly" to himself since he signed them before he sold his label to sony . sony also owns a ton of other labels and not just syco. sony owners and simon were friends for years as well. sony removed simon from owner of syco recently+
+and they moved syco's biggest artist (louis)from the label and moved him to another for the time being so he wont remin in there and will be away from any backlash syco might receive soon. simon is clearly in trouble which is why he was dropped so suddenly after L "left"+
+ after 1d signed with syco after xfactor they basically sold their lives to syco(now sony) until they complete their contracts regardless of when it supposedly ends they need to meet the agreements made within the contracts (1-2 more albums) to be "free" from Sony+
+ until then all ot5 boys are still under sony and syco regardless of what you think/read and that's a fact so deal with it. and that is why they kept the same image they had in 1d because they are still obligated to uphold what the public knows of them for when they have to +
+complete their contract agreements but they can go to other labels under sony or to labels they have partnerships with (but not own) and sony will still receive a large profit from what they make under other labels they dont own but work with. sony is phoney and horrible+
+ to be signed to. to clear other things up a label is what is in charge and they allow the mangement to do things but normally have to sign off on all bs they push. a label is in charge of the image NOT just the managment. a management is hired by the label and the artists +
+ now back to simon so clearly things are going down behind the scenes that we dont see and for good buddy sony to remove him right after removing louis from syco says things under syco themselves is going wrong and things are happening badly there. simon is in a lot of trouble+
+for them to drop him and him to sell mutiple homes. it's almost like hes running from something. Sony is distancing themselves from simon for a reason and they are taking sycos good artists away to try and keep them "safe" from backlash or issues that syco and simon may face+
+its well know at work that syco has been shredding documents and doing a lot of illegal things that are pretty normal but I'm gonna assume that will come out soon anyways. sony is just as bad as syco and simon so dont be fooled by them "protecting" louis for the time being+
+I would also like to add at the recording studio I work at sony has blocked all syco artists from being allowed in my studio and fellow branches world wide for a undetermined time period from coming in and recording. which is shady asf as well+
+I think Sony knows how big Ls fanbase is and that's why they moved him so he will still be able to record if he wanted to (there's other studio companies he can go to as well) I'm unsure of sony blocked syco artists from other studios I just know they cant go to mine+
+ now with the shady simon stuff I am worried for his biggest earners because he might try to drag them down with him to make himself look better or to get attention off him when sony throws him to the wolves. I feel like simon is definitely going to try and drag everyone down+
+everyone with him. and I find it weird how he magically gets hurt recently when hes already going down him huh maybe for some sympathy from the public. call me crazy but last time he got hurt he was being dragged by mutiple artists under him. suspicious if you ask me+
+back to Louis so I feel like things will get better for him especially with sony removing jom from syco when he still has contracts in place which means they see something with him. personally I see things getting better for him with all this and its known that louis knows+
+ a certain secret about simon that could ruin him but simon must have dirt of his own which scares me too. I'm not gonna go into too much but I wanted to explain somethings that people just dont seem to understand or want to understand I guess.+
+ot5 is still controlled by sony . ps when you "buy out a contract " you normally have to pay everything you earned while under their label you're leaving which means you go broke and they still own your voice which means you can release new music without the previous +
+ labels permission to do so and you have to release it under said label otherwise artists can and do get sued because once you signed they own your voice , image , and person and can do as they want with it regardless of what you say or do. and that's why ot5 have shit images+
especially because dirty laundry gets more clicks than being a good person,the people want the bad. sony especially pushes horrible articles about their artists because of the amount of clicks they get and "insider sources" on articles are straight from the label/managment+
+ right now shit articles about louis are coming out and verified accs are dragging him and I'm 100% sure it's from simon paying people because hes mad he lost and now hes losing everything. also other labels pay tabloids to make shita articles about other labels+
+clients to make theirs look better or other personal gain. like I said labels also do the same to their owns clients for many reasons and 1 main reason is as a punishment to the artist. labels punish their clients by refusing to have their music radio play , withholding music, +
+refusing to do promo, only allowing small venues, hiding actual sale reports, releasing horrible articles on them and/or their families. labels have family and close friends sign contracts and ndas to keep things quiet . they can also get in trouble from breaking it+
+or they will punish the artists for family/friends messing up. and its known for family and friends to also "stunt" for the artists so they don't have to. this is pretty common too sadly. its fucked up but it happens all the time and for years . this isnt anything new. +
+I didnt want to go too deep into this but some people are so ignorant that my brain hurts from the lack of research yet people want to talk about things they know nothing about and want to act like they are right. in conclusion sony is shit and phoney. before yall start I work+
+at a recording studio with contracts to sony and parented labels and other labels not under sony and I've met Simon personally so I'm fully prepared to argue
