But compare him to D Adamas who also creates value deep but has the skillset to consistently get open on the intermediate routes. Far less flashy, but way more steady. And the value of his targets are just as high at each level.
FWIW, I've found that intermediate and deep target SOE is stable, while short area separation is not. And the stability in the intermediate area is highest at the player level for receivers. So if a guy is good at getting open from 5-15 yards you should expect it to continue
If I was building a team with an inaccurate QB who was incapable of consistently throwing with anticipation, like say Josh Allen, I would want 2 or 3 Adams types.
