If you are older than 25 years old it is time for you to learn how to talk to people without assuming your superiority. Stop telling people what they “need/should” and learn to communicate like a human being.
This is a HORRIBLE personality and I hate it and hate you for having it.
Of the people I have cut out of my life to various degrees, this is a common thread. They could not figure out anyway to engage that wasn’t giving unsolicited “advice” to me and others.
You aren’t “just trying to help”. You are just trying to control the status hierarchy in any given social interaction to your personal benefit and you are a horrible human being even if you do so “nicely”.

A smiling narcissist is still a narcissist.
