The debate about playing College Football this fall is two sides completely talking over each other

The people who want football seem to refuse to acknowledge how dangerous the idea is and what happens if one player, just one, gets seriously sick or dies from the disease (cont)
The people who don’t want College Football played seem to refuse to acknowledge the very real financial costs to public Universities and entire economic regions if sports aren’t played

It’s not a “silly game” when it helps prop up academic institutions and college towns (cont)
So the College Football decision is a balancing act...and a hard one at that. But in today’s society, difficult decisions or nuance is completely lost for the absolutism of whatever position a person has

I can see why colleges want to play and why they may not. It ain’t easy
