I just experienced the strangest thing. I’ve moved into a luxury apartment in London, after saving for a home I deserve. Within a week of moving in, the police has just let them self through my front door saying they have suspicions and have had a tip off that there is drug use
I obvs don’t do drugs, so was super confused to why the police forced through my door. I was told by the officer, I’m lucky that he don’t escalate it. (In my own home yanno) they didn’t find nothing of course and left. Just as I had faith that the world is changing.
I litterally feel like a neighbours thought ‘a young black women cant afford somewhere nice’ and reported to the police that I’m a drug dealer.
Next thing you know I’ve got an officer saying ‘I can tell your not from round here, how have you got this place?’

Further more are we not still going through a world pandemic.. so why are police officers in my home, with no mask, in my space? I know I’m ranting, but I’m just so annoyed.
The worse thing is, the complaint of loud music and parties must have been from me recording a guest mix for a national radio station.... at 1pm in the afternoon btw! Just me doing my job, not having a late night drug fuelled party.
