Lamptey was made a regular towards the end of the season with Graham Potter preferring the youngster over the more experienced Martín Montoya. Going forward Lamptey is the better player, suiting the 3-4-1-2 as a wing back.
At a price of £4.0m/ £4.5m, Lamptey is a budget defender with potential attacking returns. A bargain price to free money for your premium choices.

James has had a good season under Frank Lampard, although he has not had huge goal contributions he picked up a few assists in the league and a goal against Ajax back in November.
Although James didn’t have many direct goal contributions last season, he is always getting forward and is very comfortable with the ball at his feet. Next season he will threaten to convert his attacking game and bring in more goal contributions.

Burnley were a solid defensive outlet last season, Nick Pope was a poplar FPL choice nearing the golden glove. At £4.5m Pieters is a cheaper option of the Burnley defence and with potential for attacking returns he is an attractive FPL option.

Last season, Dallas played both full back positions, a centre midfield role and sometimes on the right wing. I wouldn’t want to compare him to Lord Lundstram but his stats from last season and versatility could bring good FPL returns. Definitely a player to look at for this price
Kieran Tierney might creep into the ‘budget’ category depending on his price. I predict he will be £5.5m but £5.0m would make him an even better option. https://twitter.com/TheFPLGooner/status/1291345392446078978
