In the last four days in my neighbourhood, the conversation has been about an elderly neighbour with dementia and how to make sure he is safe on our streets and how to support those living without permanent housing who are now living in tents. 1/

This pandemic has exposed many gaps in our community. It has brought out the best in my neighbours who are choosing support, respect, fighting for change and voting for new leadership in our city because we need more caring investment in housing, mental health, & health care. 2/

This is where we need our city leaders to put their energy, time, and our money. Our neighbourhood will continue to support, respect, and ensure the safety of all neighbours. Starting from compassion and working to help - proud of my community /end
