'Suits' is one series that I've religiously watched. Other than its captivating storyline, exceptional characters and never ending Harvey quotes, this series has taught me about lot of life skills and broadened my worldview. A modest attempt to unpack the learnings in a thread:
(1) Having the capability + storytelling skills to make others believe in you. And being smart enough to bend the rules in your favour. That's how Mike was able to get the job which was went for a Harvard graduate - we all remember how his interview went!
(2) There will be 100 things that'll be against you, but if you believe in yourself you can make things happen. Jessica, being a Black woman, faced a lot of hardships on her way to become a name partner. But she fought her way up
(3) Importance of people skills, especially illustrated by Donna. Understanding human psyche can go a long way in cultivating relationships and striking deals.
(4) Having the ability and courage to build a name for yourself - Rachel despite being Robert Zane's daughter started with a paralegal job and rose up the hierarchy, whereas she could have started at a much senior position at her dad's firm
(5) Persistence and smart work can help u solve all problems.
“What are your choices when someone puts a gun to your head?
You take the gun, or you pull out a bigger one. Or, you call their bluff. Or, you do any one of a hundred and forty six other things.”

(6) Importance of family, can even be colleagues - having people who will stick with you despite all odds.
(7) Life isn't about following anyone, it's about creating your own path, a unique path. Each character had a unique quality.
