2019 Washington RBs by down.
Obviously the coaching staff changed half way through the year.
But still.
There are early down backs. And there are receiving backs.
Peterson and Guice are early down.
In 2019 AP and Guice accounted for 80% of the team's RB targets/carries on first down.
Over 60% on 2nd down.
Under 30" on 3rd/4th down.
Again - new coaching staff in place.
But I think we can assume similar - because it's super common across the NFL.
Riverboat Ron gave CMac ALL the work in Carolina, but there's just not a back with his ability in Washington.
Adrian Peterson [with some Bryce Love and Peyton Barber] is likely to dominate early down rushing.
Antonio Gibson and JD McKissick are in prime position to own the late-down work and RB targets.
I expect Gibson to win that battle.
