Just watched an episode of "Connected". It talked about shit and about how astronauts left behind a lot of crap on the moon, literally. 6 moon missions left behind 96 bags of human waste: urine, vomit, and shit! Now scientists want to find these bags of shit...
...to see if there are any living or revivable organisms in them. If that's not a perfect metaphor for colonialism, I don't know what is:

- Plant flags in territory that doesn't belong to you.
- Tell lots of stories about your greatness while also dumping all of your shit...
- Don't worry about the impact of your shit. But, years later, study it, not to think about the effect its had on the place you left it, but to reinforce your own assumed greatness by being amazed at the magic of your own shit and its ability to endure...
At the end of the day, though, shit is still shit, and like colonialism, it still stinks! "But, old space shit might not stink," you may argue. But again, like colonialism, the stench is burned into our nostrils...
Whether old or current, we still have the memory of its smell and we still have to clean up the mess.

#SomeShitForYourWeekend Lol. 😂
