So yeah about Imagos Softworks, the makers of Starr Mazer. I worked for them for a month full of crunch back in 2015.

I did a lot of art for the Kickstarter, one of the bigger ones at the time. I took over from Jeremie Perin who did stellar work on the video. I made them concept art, pixelart, even their website.

Their lead, Don Thacker, was *completely* inappropriate and patronizing concerning all my concerns about sexism. He called me "an edge case" to my face; used me to ease other people's legitimate concerns about sexism in the game. https://twitter.com/castpixel/status/1292281624110006275?s=20
He and his co-writer at the time were adamant that the game shouldn't pass the Bechdel Test. They also wanted the main character to be able to rape one of the women in the game, "to teach players about consequences."

They asked me to leave, and I asked to get paid for the mind-numbing amount of work I'd done. The asked me to sign a Gag Order promising I won't reveal their disman behavior toward me.

Still more work for the Starr Mazer kickstarter. This is for the @galakzmobile crossover. At this point I'm impressing even myself.
