CMHC subcontracted delivery of the CECRA Program (NOT Trudeau govt) for small businesses to MCAP on May 15, corp spokesperson Audrey-Anne Coulombe confirmed to the Post. At the time, she said CMHC determined that it did not have the capacity to administer the program internally.

CMHC consulted w 2 financial institutions w experience in servicing commercial mortgages & requested proposals w estimated costs for the delivery of CECRA. MCAP presented a stronger proposal & the lowest cost of the 2, which led to the execution of a contract agreement with CMHC
