Benefits of growing up as a Jehovah’s Witness:

1. You read ! Reading is part of the Witness culture - the Bible , Awake Watchtowers is a storehouse of information so reading

2. Research! All our weekly meetings were interactive so you had to read and do research so as to ...
Contribute to the meetings. And this was not limited to the adults, everyone was encouraged to read and research

3. Critical thinking. You won’t meet a JW thats isn’t a critical thinker and that’s bcos we were encouraged to examine the scriptures like the Bereans
4. Very inclusive.
Lol before inclusive became a thing, JW’s were practicing it .
No special seating for prominent people or the rich or anything. No special service or adults, every one sits together. Yes respect but we are all Bro’s and sisters
5. Public speaking confidence.
Right from childhood, you’re trained from the KH on how to speak boldly and confidently to everyone you meet.
When I say training, it’s a very comprehensive teaching module.
Lol trainers on public speaking would be envious of the package
6. Knowledge of the Bible : you can’t bullshit, hoodwink, lie to a Witness about things in the Bible. Lol if everyone read and studied the Bible like JW’s did, like a lot of Pastors won’t have any business

7. Transparency: you see where your contributions are going
8. Overall growing up as a Witness is a great experience!
I know there are so many myths and misconceptions about Witnesses all over but it’s seriously one of the best well structured well organized organization on earth !
It’s shapes and molds you for good.
My feelings about the organization hasn’t changed, it’s still the best but i kinda share the same thoughts with Prince, yes THE PRINCE !
Yes ‘the artist formerly known as Prince’
