Yesterday @iKatar_Koshur found striking similarities between these two pictures credited to both @umeerasif and @Masratzahra. The second picture is from @IWMF page which awarded her 'courage in journalism'
On a closer analysis, these pictures are a 100% identical, with different frame crops. The expressions, the eyebrows, the shadow lengths - all same.
Masrat implied that she had perhaps also clicked the same picture. However, there seems to be zero difference in both pics.
To which, @Masratzahra replied
to which, ( @iKatar_Koshur @zaenkoori ) found that one of these pictures was also credited to @umeerasif on @alamy
Other photojournalists were tagged, @mattoosanna @daryasin @ShowkatNanda @AltafQadriAP who demanded that there be ample clarification from both parties who have been more or less silent so far.
