There are four teams working at the Harbour, looking for dozens of people still under the debris. The firefighters, the silo workers and many others are still under.
These teams are: the Lebanese Army, and the teams of #France #Russia and #Turkey.+

The chaos of yesterday has nothing to do with #France President @EmmanuelMacron's visit to #Lebanon
this week. On the contrary, Macron rejected the suggestion of an early parliamentary election, did not comment on the suggestion to support an international investigation...+

From a source who participated to the meeting, the French President @EmmanuelMacron asked the MP leaders to unite and form a united government where they are take part of it if they are unhappy with the current one and believe it won't support the future of #Lebanon
.

Lebanese MP leaders - who oppose the current government and work against it domestically and by asking the international community to refrain from helping #Lebanon
- were very disappointed with @EmmanuelMacron because they thought #France would support the corrupted among them+

Actually, many of those MP Leaders present at the meeting with @EmmanuelMacron are accused of corruption and were responsible for decades of ruling the country, theft of #Lebanon
's wealth and mismanagement.+

A minority of those disappointed with #France turned towards a symbolic but insignificant move: 5 MPs offered their resignation. These represent the very small minority of the Christian, including an independent Druse MP Marwan Hamade'.
Saturday's protestors were driven by a mixture of angry innocent civilians driven my a legitimate discontent of the dear situation in #Lebanon
and this very small minority Christians of the Kataeb and the Lebanese Forces supporters.
These protestors moved towards a gray area+

#Lebanon
can't be divided and the 1975 civil war scenario or the 2005 scenario ("cedar revolution") can't be reproduced. Kataeb & the LF wrongly believe they can drag the international community to intervene. They do not represent, on the ground & the Parliament, the majority.+

Making a lot of noise with a few 1000s of protestors in a country where several million oppose the protestor's act has great effect among Twitterati but little effect in reality, even if the negative contribution of Mainstream media is trying to maximise the effect to no avail.
I need to add that there is also a #Dutch team of 70 civil defence workers at the Harbour supporting the Lebanese Army in their search and recovery work #BeirutExplosions #Lebanon

As far as the investigation related to the #BeirutExplosion, 20 people were arrested, including the previous and the current director of the Harbour and the head of the customs.

It was the same Director of the Harbour Hassan Qraytim who took the report of the National Security Forces - who warned about the danger of the Ammonium Nitrate and the gap at warehouse 12 and the necessity to remove them - who took the shortcut and decided to close the door.
Qraytim - personally appointed by former Prime Minister @saadhariri and enjoying his immunity for years - thought by fulfilling part of the report he could get away with it.
the Harbour is controlled by key politicians and is considered a huge source of income to all of them.
