Wait, why am I being told to deliver cars? I was hired to design a test fixture, not talk to customers. Ok I guess it’s for the greater good. Looking forward to tomorrow! 4/22
Hmm my manager isn’t here today and I can’t get hold of him. Was he fired or did he quit? Who’s leading the team now? 5/22
I have to present to leadership today and I hope I covered all my bases. Not sure if I’ll get through the next meeting unscathed. Wish me luck!

Whew I got through that meeting but now I’m being asked to develop a product that’s not quite what I presented and is certainly more expensive and will take more time to get right. I think I can handle it. 7/22
I just finished the schedule for the new product and we should be ok as long as....oh I guess we have to help deliver cars again. Oh wait you want us to build cars this time? 8/22
Alright that was fun, not sure I tightened all those bolts but I think I did. Back to business as usual. How about that timeline? 9/22
Oh I guess the timeline hasn’t changed, so I guess I’ll figure out where to cut schedule from this project I was asked to run. Maybe if I shorten the testing phase? 10/22
Whew, time to launch the product, barely made it in time. Hmm, what’s this email with a tweet attached? And why can’t I get hold of my new manager? 11/22
Oh, I guess the leadership wants this product to do this new feature that I hadn’t anticipated. I don’t think it can do that but asking for more time and resources is going to be a challenge. I’ll try anyways! 12/22
So I didn’t get more time or resources, I dunno how to get this done with any sort of quality, maybe I should start looking for another job. 13/22

Just got a call, I’ve gotta fly out to fix the CEO’s girlfriend’s car, this was unexpected. I’m definitely not gonna get this new project done in time. 16/22
I’m being asked about when the new product will be ready. I’m not liking this situation. My managers are not helping. 17/22
My manager has been demoted and a new org has been established. I’m being reassigned to a new project. This must be an improvement. 18/22
My new org is going to help me develop this new product, and there’s a new team of people working on it, great! 19/22
My new org has now shown my product to leadership and it looks like things are on the up and up! Time for performance reviews! 20/22
My new org doesn’t know all the work I put into this, I don’t understand why I got such low marks. 21/22
I just read in a news article that we’re laying off a bunch of people, I hope I’m not part of that.....22/22
