It's Orientalism, racism, and chauvinism to project onto China the U.S. framework of race and empire onto China.

China is a real place with millenia of indigenous cultural, political, and ethnic dynamics. You're not an expert on China just because you understand the U.S.
Did you know for decades China has practiced affirmative action, One Child exemptions, and other preferential policies for ethnic minority groups?

Did you know Mao Zedong decried "Han chauvinism" as an obstacle to the project of Chinese socialism?
Did you know that for half of China's recorded history, China was governed by non-Han imperial courts?

Did you know that China has minimum mandates for ethnic minority representation in local and provincial people's congresses?
Did you know China has a complex system of autonomous regional administration for regions with large ethnic minority populations, and that these systems have been implemented even amidst calls of "reverse discrimination" from Han Chinese?
Did you know since 1955 China has issued hundreds of billions of RMB in "ethnic region subsidies" to ensure equal development rights for ethnic minorities?
China is not immune to ethnic bias or chauvinism, and these strains should be rooted out and opposed as an obstacle to building socialism.

But it's pure ignorance to suppose China is a settler colonial nation "just like" the U.S.
