The psychic economy has become dominant over the physical economy which is why physical dimorphism is increasingly falling apart and in the short term you see very well off people who don't take care of their health or are dysgenic.
In a few generations most people will realize this but it will be too late to improve your station if you weren't born into people who realized it a while ago and capitalized on the lack of understanding and also were serious about their physical well-being and mate selection
You can see this selection process taking place with internet people. Because most people don't realize how the psychic economy is now dominant (and will have more prestige than the physical), there are huge opportunities for dysgenic people to "win" without knowing why they win.
Right now, the majority of healthy, capable, and intelligent people see the psychic economy as something for losers, because up until information became solely entropic in the chronological manner (rather than geographical), it was.
But there are a growing number of talented and disciplined people who are just starting to realize that earning potential is almost infinitely higher with the psychic economy than the physical, and soon the dysgenic people who dominated the psychic economy will be out-competed.
This thread is so much more accurate than literally any other analysis of why things are by any other living person or writer, and it's very obvious when it finally clicks.
What people don't realize is that humans as a whole are like mold that follow a very distinct path depending on what nutrients are there rather than "creating destiny".
People as a whole are stupid/clueless, that's why there's so much confusion now, because up until recently the incentive structure rewarded geographically oriented resource acquisition, now that's replaced by psychic resource acquisition and most people aren't suited for it.
up until industrialization and the connection of human brains near-instantly and non-geographically: be good at physical games = get physical resources
now: be good at psychic games = get psychic resources and use those psychic resources to get physical resources
now: be good at psychic games = get psychic resources and use those psychic resources to get physical resources
