It is #InternationalCatDay2020. In honor of this important day, here is the story of me and my brothers.
We were born to a feral mama in a vacant lot in Montclsir, California. Those of you who know the area will ask, "ARE there vacant lots in Montclair?" Apprently there are. We were born on or about April 12, 2017.
When we were 3.5 weeks old, Berkeley Animal Care Services trapped us, but they could not get our mama.
Almost right away, our foster mamas, mama and dad's old neighbors and dear, dear friends agreed to take care of us.
On Mother's Day of 2017, they texted mama that she should come meet us. Mama finished watching Guardians of the Galaxy and then went right over to meet us.
Mama had to leave us on that day, but she couldn't stop thinking of us. A few days later (she was trying to be cool
), she texted her neighbors just to, "Find out how the kittens are doing."

They texted right back to say that they hadn't understood how much work 4 week old orphan kittens would be, and would mama and dad be interested in co-parenting us. Mama said yes right away and then informed dad there would be three more cats in the house when he got home.
So now technically mama and dad were fostering us and "co-parenting" us, but pretty soon our neighbors admitted it was better if we stayed with mama and dad and they visited. Mama and dad already knew they would adopt one of us, but how to choose?
Happy #InternationalCatDay2020 everyone! Celebrate by adopting more cats. Mama and dad will!
