Trump, Miller, Barr, etc. are working to make sure there is no democracy left BEFORE 11/3. The more power they consolidate, the fewer ways to check them, the easier it‘ll be for them to steal the election. And the majority of us refuse to look that ugly truth in the face 1/

We’re so accustomed to certain norms that we’ve turned away from how they’ve been stripped and destroyed the past couple years. IGs fired, lack of compliance with SCOTUS, courts packed, election security blocked, and on and on. We’re at a point where only we can save us 2/

People in power, or comfortable people, are especially prone to crossing their fingers and telling us to do the same. They have more to lose, and the prospect of the system failing and a mass movement in the streets scares them. So it’s going to take ordinary people. 3/

And this didn’t just start. It’s been true for a year or more. But it becomes more blatant and obvious every day. My fear is that enough of us won’t take to the streets en masse to force Trump out until the election is stolen. And he’ll try to make his theft look as legal 4/

As possible. As much like Bush 2000 as possible. If he does that a number of moderates won’t flood the streets. But the rest of us need to start preparing now. We need to organize for the worst. I‘ll be voting, but I’ll also organize with @ShutDown_DC and an NYC equivalent. 5/5
