For those who are questioning compensation, Let me just drum up the fact that the U.S. (through the state dept) is currently managing reparations payment to Holocaust victims, checks are passed down to the families of deceased victims.

I will also mention that Haitian slaves were forced to pay restitution to slave owners and their descendants for over 140 years.

So excuse me if I am skeptical when people question how are we going to “compensate dead people” Which never appears to be a problem until the discussion is directed towards African Americans.
