Fades have been popular for many years now.

But maybe you've grown tired of them (like yours truly).

What other hairstyles/haircuts are good?

A thread...
1) Grow it out longer and sweep it back with some product (beard optional).

Been recommending this look for some time now.
But what if your hair is too thick/wavy?

No problem. Don't need to grow it out as long. Sweep it back with light gel or cream. Embrace the waviness. This is what I'll be doing.
2) Leading Man Haircut

Great look for guys 40+

Grow it out a bit longer. Scissors (no clippers) to the sides.

The hair product you use will depend on the texture of your hair and how shiny or matte you want the finish.
"But Manny I'm bald. What can I do?"

Nothing.

All good though. Just shave your head (or crop it real close).

Grow out a beard/stubble to add some contrast to your face.
Add a little bit of muscle like James McAvoy below and you'll carry the look well.
"What about shaving your head even if you have hair?"

Be careful with this.

It can work well...or fall flat.

Damian Lewis looks so much better with his locks.

If you've got a good head of hair no need to shave it off.
3) The Bond Cut

For the guys who want to keep it short but don't want to do a skin fade.

It's clean, crisp, and professional...just like a spy/assassin should be.
"What about Black men?"

My recommendation: grow your hair out a bit. Take it easy on the fade.
Lastly - be careful with bangs.

"Bangs on men disturb me." Jerry Seinfeld.

Affleck looks so much better without bangs. A lot of this has to do with your face shape.

And besides, bangs look better on women anyway.
