I have been away from Twitter for few days but one thought kept bothering me
Will TN ever vote a national party? Will TN muster courage to vote BJP?

As of 2020
There are 0 BJP MLAs MPs
What’s stopping? Who is stopping? Problems according to me
1. AIADMK, DMK, Misc REGIONAL parties
It has unfortunately become a polarised fight down in TN between AIADMK & DMK
BJP is supporting AIADMK- As a BJP supporter this Should stop

2. Temple movements
There are more movements, there are more groups, there are more independent Hindu affiliated movements in TN than in any other states in India
They all do a stupendous job
BUT they are the very ppl who is stopping BJP from coming to power

From an outsider you’d feel why are these groups not supporting R.S.S or why ain’t they not a chapter of main stream RSS programmes?
The scope of these movements sadly has geographical fencing I.e limited TN boundaries

The scope/objectives of these “temple movement activists” doesn’t work if the scope is outside TN
In Software Development parlance - we could call this “HIGHLY PLATFORM specific and NON PORTABLE”
Worst part these “temple activists” like it this way ie. REGIONAL

Best example of this temple activists getting it wrong outside TN is #IndicCollective .. TR Ramesh & Sai Deepak gang
They tried to bundle their activism, legal acumen on Temple affairs in Karnataka & Uttarakhand - they failed
They are casting aspersions on R.S.S & B.J.P

Looks like the intention of these “ACTIVISTS” is limited to showing R.S.S in poor light
Another hyper-outrage movement is RECLAIM TEMPLES
I have no idea if the origins is in TN but they like Indic have got their objective wrong as far as “building the nation” is concerned

R.S.S end game has always been NATION building
The harshest critics have accepted its good for the country
Whilst in TN the movements or the new WAVES
are not giving any hopes be it Indic or reclaim temples

TN DHARMICS are quite proud and open about their DHARMIC roots
However, they are surfing these small new waves in TN
They have to go the deep end of the ocean I.e., make “NATION BUILDING” mainstream

Irony is Twitter DHARMICS demand accountability from RSS whilst they are the problem

Cult characters from cinema occupy more mind space in TN ppl than stories of SHIVAJI

5. Anti Hindi/Anti Samskritha activism
This falls under “negative regional jingoism”
As soon as TN adopts 3 Language policy “NATION BUILDING” becomes mainstream & lends itself to bringing R.S.S

Dr SS has never recognised himself as a TN politician but still Twitter DHARMICS from TN have a fan base for Dr SS
Again the reason could be the “amount of hyper-outrage” from Dr SS timeline
His timeline almost makes it feel problem is not in TN

7. BJP TN
Rubber stamps have been appointmented at the BJP TN state level
They are Good ppl but they ain’t political juggernauts
They don’t look like they can break the “regional bipolar contest in TN”
Almost like BJP at the centre is ceding space for AIADMK

To conclude :
What TN needs is
- splintered Dharmic groups to come together
- they have to give up their negative regional jingoistic pride
- nation building should become the goal
- accepting nation building as the anthem under RSS/BJP banner
Otherwise TN will never have BJP
