This happened When I was still in school back in Benin. One beautiful morning, my friend Faithfulfrankincess came to spend the weekend with me. She was working with Nigerian Breweries as a promoter at that time. She works only on weekends.
She actually came to my place cos....

.... She was sick but still she needs to go to work that evening.
I offered to go with her,I'll work while she sits just incase her supervisor comes to check.
On our way to work that evening around 3pm. We took a bus from Ekenwan road going to Ring road.

If you're familiar with Benin you'd know these places.
As at then buses no longer stop at kings square ring road anymore. You'd stop at Obakavwaye opposite Ecobank and trek to ring road.
We entered the bus and told the conductor that we'll drop at Obakavwaye junction.....

.....the conductor said "i nor dey go Obakavwaye oh, Una go stop for Ogwaligho". My friend said " no stop stop,I nor fit trek,I nor dey fine".
The driver stopped and we came down. The next thing the conductor started insulting us " see am,ashawo", Ah

.... I just reverse and land the idiot a sound slap on his face and said " who you dey insult,na my elder sister you dey insult for my presence?" I just removed wig and flung it to one side. Bus refused to move again oh and alot of passengers were inside.
The conductor jumped down from the bus and held my shirt,fight started and the conductor threw punch and it hit my upper lip. Blood stated flowing everywhere. Immediately I saw blood,I confirmed it's mine and also used my tongue to check if my teeth was still complete

.... Fortunately they're very much intact. So I also release some punch but this guy nor gree bleed 
I carried one TV set I saw by the side and hit it on his head still the guy head nor gree tear. Ah I said "no oh your head must tear oh,I bleed you must bleed too"....

... passengers on the bus came down and started to separate the fight,but I said "no I nor gree,this guy must bleed".
My friend now discovered her gold earring was missing. We started looking for it. When the driver noticed we weren't going to leave the conductor,he took....

My friend said " lai lai you nor dey go anywhere,you don enter gbese like this,you must pay my earring,I must arrest you today,see my sister lip plus my earring,your own don finish".
Passers-by came to see what's going on,they pleaded....

....and asked him to beg then take me to chemist for treatment,but my friend said she must arrest him.
The conductor was saying "aunt abeg na,I nor get money oh". My friend said na police station we must settle this matter today.

One lawyer that knew us was driving pass with one of his friend,they stopped and saw what happened. They also begged for the boy and told the boy to take me for treatment that my friend should let go of her earring that the guy won't be able pay but my friend said no she must....
....arrest him.
So the lawyer offered to take us to the station. Reaching there,with my bloody lip and all. The police at the counter asked us what happened,we narrated the whole story.

My brothers and sisters lo and behold, The Nigerian Police change am for us oh hmmm 
They said we were the ones oppressing the conductor. Even with my injuries with blood. The next thing,the inspector said " arrest her for oppression" Ah
arrest? Mogbe

They now arrested me and the boy and chased my friend away from the station
The charge and bail lawyerthat took us to the station started pleading with the inspector.
They said we should write statement,the lawyer came to tell us codedly that we shouldn't write....

....the lawyer now told us to tell them that we've settled. They said we must write statement and pay for bail if not we will sleep inside cell. Ah mogbe cell? No oh. The lawyer now went outside the gate to meet my friend that she should bring money to bail me.

She now gave the money to the lawyer. The lawyer asked the conductor, "how much you get so we can bail the both of you with the money" the guy said he doesn't have any money with him that the driver took all the money from him before he left. It was already passed 5pm.
The lawyer and his friend now contributed money and added it to what my friend brought to pay for bail for the both of us.
We let the conductor go and we still made it to work by 6:40pm.
At the end we arrested the conductor and bailed him with our own money,lost gold earring worth 16k (one earring oh) and I collected free injury that my friend spent money to treat.
