I think we need a movement on this BBC news N word news article. @sidemanallday made such a powerful stand, we CANNOT let this be one of those they “give it time and they’ll die down”. We need to show real unity and strength with this one...
We’re great with the social media outrage and RTs but not with real action. We need the 18 thousand complaints with ofcom. Heres what u need to do :
Step 1 : U cant complain to ofcom unless you have complained to the BBC first.

Log your BBC complaint here : https://www.bbc.co.uk/contact/complaints/make-a-complaint/#/Complaint

(Details u need.

Broadcasted on BBC news Channel Wednesday 29th July)
Step 2 : Wait about 15 minutes and you’ll get an email confirming reciept of your BBC complaint with a case number. Write this down as this is the number you need for the ofcom complaint.

The email will look like this
Step 3 : Now goto the Ofcom page to log the second complaint - we know BBC’s response already - they excused themselves and didnt apologise so we are escalating to ofcom who can fine them etc. https://www.ofcom.org.uk/complaints

Complain here and use the case reference when asked.

Done
The BBC recieved around 19,000 complaints and didnt care.

Ofcom is official UK independent organisation who regulate broadcasting - they are there to make sure broadcasters arent reckless & can fine them etc.

Ofcom only recieved about 400 complaints. We need to flood ofcom.
