He has denied it. This isn't the first time it happened.

Notice how an irrelevant incident is propped as very important to counter an ongoing discussion (in this case on social media) to deflect attention

Here's the chronology.
First, media is informed about a rapper being interrogated by the police.
Only interrogation, no FIR.
Which means no charges have been pressed and this case is not going to trial in a court. Hours later, the same singer issues a statement denying everything

So its back to square one. Only Interrogation, no FIR, singer is accused. He denies charges.
Even if charges are pressed what act will it attract?

In my opinion, this incident is unimportant and a PR stunt.
