I'd add to the list India was the first country to challenge, or at least refuse to continue endorsing, the "One China Policy." India stopped making references to it in joint statements in 2010, insisting Beijing recognize its sovereignty over Arunachal Pradesh and Kashmir first.
Last but not least, India is the first country to inflict casualties on China in a military confrontation since...Vietnam in 1987? I say this not as an endorsement but a statement of fact and an acknowledgement that, far from Non-Aligned, India has often been on the frontline.
