Analysis-
If we look back & see the 6 promoted teams in the last 2 years,Wolves are now playing Europa, Sheffield just missed to nailed on a spot this year for Europa & had a superb season with a top half finish.
Whereas clubs like Norwich, Cardiff City got relegated.

Winter transfers & performance: -(Season-18/19)
In Jan 19 , Moore brought the below players into WBA. Among which,Mason Holgate on loan from Everton was a notable addition.
Sad part is Barnes returned from his loan spell to Leicester on Jan , splitting the front 3 of success.

Following his success in the first 25 matches, in the next 11 GWs,Moore won only 4, not able to win against rivals like Norwich,Sheffield & Leeds.
As a result they fall behind from 2nd spot by 9 points after 36 matches.

Post to the por form,Moore was sacked from his role & the assistant manager back then was brought in new role to make the job done.

WBA brought in Slaven bilic on 2-year contract,the man who managed Croatia,WHU in past.
Few of his notable selling were the profit that he made (more than 26 million euro) at the start of the season by selling Rondon,Dawson&Rodriguez .

This is where Bilic’s was very clever, He knew it was his wingers who was helping him to secure wins.
He didn’t have a striker at top like Watkins or Mitrovic who can score 20+ goals. Hence,he strengthens the strong areas with Robinson/Grosicki.

Before lockdown ,the 12 matches in 2020 that WBA played ,they had a spell where they won 5 out of the 6 matches in that time.
Robson-Kanu was essential in that time, he was not only leading the line but was also technically good to combine with those deadly wingers in the box.

Post lockdown,their form dipped a little & the last 9 matches of the season post lockdown they won only 3 of them.

Players overview-Lets look at few of their assets that we can really consider to bring in next season.
Robson-Kanu & Charlie Austin scored 10 goals each in the season but I would not recommend to bring them as none of them were stand out perform through out the season.

Matheus Pereira-
The samba star ,starting 38 out of the 42 matches in the season had the most no. of assists(16) in the EFl this season.
He had created 20 big chances(8 more than Benrahma) in the season. He scored the 2nd most no. of goals(8) in the WBA team.

Grady Diangana-
The west ham loanee was a last minute snatch away in a fight with Derby.When he came off the bench at Luton,he scored 2 goals &win Albion the game.
Starting 23 out of 30 matches that he played Diangana scored 2nd most no. of goals(8) & 6 assists in the season.

The Nigerian international starting 42 out of 43 matches last season is all you need to be a top center-half.
He is the reason why WBA lost the least no. of games(7) across all the teams.

Conclusion- All being said, I think WBA surely needs to recruit at front,at wing if they can’t sign Diangana & at back for someone to partner with Ajayi.
If that’s done then their key man like Pereira(if they can signed him on a permanent deal) who is on free kick duty too...

......& having a record of scoring 1 goal & 3 assists in a single match against Swansea is surely someone who can make & break our #FPl rank on his day.
