GEORGE FLOYD KILLED HIMSELF

I realized just now watching it I missed a lot of details a thread breakdown could afford me the chance to point out.
The incident occured on May 25th.
The Officers were called to a Grocery Store in the Powderhorn Park area of Minneapolis to investigate someone trying to purchase food with a counterfeit $20 Bill.
I'm going to cover the initial contact with Floyd & explain why he died & the Officers acted as they did
The initial contact with Floyd is very telling. The Officer is only there to investigate a minor offence.
Ordinarily the Driver would be interviewed with their window rolled down as the Officer assessed the situation.
The person may not realize the bill was counterfeit, etc.
At this point if the interview was satisfactory the Officer would head inside the business to look at the Bill to assess if it was, indeed fraudulent.
But Floyd's REACTION to the Officer dictates everything that will now happen.
"OH GOD! DA COPS!" is the reaction of LAWBREAKERS.
Out of training & experience Police learn to "read" people very accurately. They are lied to 100 times a day & have to deal with people who are usually at their worst.
Floyd's reaction is pantomiming "I'M CAUGHT!"
So the Officer, unsure of what's going on but ALERTED...
Opens the Door of the Vehicle & ORDERS Floyd to show his Hands.
Floyd doesn't comply. He immediately begins babbling out a word salad of "I'm Sorrys" & "Oh MAN!"
The Officer demands Floyd show his hands 3 times, the 3rd time at Gunpoint because he can't see Floyd's right hand.
The Daily Mail, who leaked this video cast this as a White Cop menacing a Black man for no reason.
The Officer did this because Floyd wasn't complying AT ALL & is giving every indication he's up to no good.
So the Officer will ASSUME Floyd is armed until he's been detained.
Yup. Floyd's actions & reactions have moved this from a simple asking of questions to a detainment at lightspeed.
The Officer repeatedly demands Floyd show him BOTH hands.
After 5 commands Floyd finally complies.
Briefly.
Floyd is clearly agitated & never stops talking.
Floyd's right hand once again disappears.
The Officer immediately demands Floyd put BOTH hands on his head.
This means the Officer has now decided to remove Floyd from the Vehicle & cuff him & you do NOT want his hands gripping the Wheel when you "help" him out of the vehicle.
Floyd is EXTREMELY agitated & distraught. He sobs with his face pressed into the steering wheel.
The Officer just wants Floyd to comply, follow commands, exit the vehicle & allow himself to be handcuffed for EVERYONE'S protection.
Floyd continues to argue, babble & resist
The Officer finally has to pull Floyd out of the SUV. Floyd is HUGE. He was 6 ft 8 in tall. The Officer struggle to place Floyd in handcuffs as 2 more units arrive.
Floyd is breathlessly talking in a stream of word babble.
At this point, FLOYD IS NOT UNDER ARREST.
He's simply being detained because of his inability to follow simple instructions & to be questioned about the counterfeit Bill.
But Floyd's resistance is growing.
The other 2 people in the vehicle follow all the Officers commands immediately & the Officer's orders are perfunctory & normal.
So much for racism.
The Woman is an ex-wife of Floyd & I believe is the one whose smartphone footage of Chauvin restraining Floyd went viral.
As the Officer questions the pair you can see Floyd has collapsed against the wall of the building & is still babbling/negotiating with the Officers.
He acts like they're dragging him to the Gallows, not the back of a Unit for a SIMPLE INTERVIEW.
NONE of the vehicles occupants tell the Officers he's tripping (overdosing) on Fentanyl & Meth.
This is WHY Floyd is acting so bizarrely.
He is literally dying.
Were the Police not called FLOYD WOULD STILL HAVE DIED.
The only thing that might have saved him is a shot of Narcan
