Planets in their fall often have to labour & put in more effort.
Sun in Libra - has to work harder to identify with the self
Moon in Scorpio - has to work harder to feel safe & comfortable
Mercury in Pisces - has to work harder to articulate in βacceptableβ language

In a way, planets in their fall find it confusing to function towards their inherent nature. Whereas planets in their exaltation (opposite of fall) have so much ease and comfort in their expression.
Exaltation = comfort
Fall = discomfort and therefore require more labour

Another way Iβve been thinking about exaltation from my horary lessons is that exalted planets are put on a pedestal and are usually given high expectations. Maybe even too good to be true. Planets in their fall are usually neglected, under appreciated and unrecognized.
