PROTECT SIDEMAN!! and salute @sidemanallday thank you brother ✊🏾❤️

But @BBCNews should feel disgusted that on-air-talent has had to resign due to the lacklustre way you dealt with the complaints.

1. Sack someone at @BBCNews

2. Give back @sidemanallday his job
I don’t think anyone should remotely be comfortable with the sacrifice @sidemanallday has made. I respect his integrity because the man is about his morals. But @BBCNews is a institutionally racist organisation if it believes that it has dealt with the issue appropriately.
It shouldn’t have to take someone leaving their job to see that the use of the “N” word is wrong.

The fact it has got to this is disgusting and I hope all the other news organisations @Channel4News @SkyNews @CNN need to cover this.

A black man was forced out of the BBC!
Because the alternative is that the company expects Black people to put up with the racism within the building.

A precedent has to be set that if an organisation, a world renowned respected institution like BBC can’t read a situation like this effectively and rectify itself.
It’s whole image is in tatters. Remember the BBC hasn’t apologised. It DEFENDED its use in the news peice and then it was used again a few days later.

I know there’s other racially motivated attacks in the country where slurs are directed at the victims. They’re not broadcast
And for the record stop shaming other black presenters to stand with @sidemanallday. We protect him by targeting those who are RESPONSIBLE. Not berating more Black people to quit work.

@jonsnowC4 I think this is something which warrants your specific attention.
I mean it’s curtains for those in management who didn’t read the energy of the Black staff in the building. That this wasn’t all just hyperbole. This was genuinely offensive.

You maybe shrugged your shoulders and said “what do expect me to do about it” 🤷🏾‍♂️

Now a man has quit.
To my knowledge has @Ofcom even penalised @BBCNews for the use of the term. Or does this organisation just operate above the law?! 🤔
I NOW really want to hear from Tony Hall is the current Director General,

Head of news @franunsworth,

Editorial Director @bbckamal.

Head of news @samtaylornews and

Head of Editorial Policy David Jordan....

How does your organisation justify its position!!
Someone should have left the building for the huge editorial error and it shouldn't have been @sidemanallday from @1Xtra

seems like the people in that 1xtra building could aid you on the editorial decisions of your news division which currently is not fit for purpose.
