You need to flex and teach in your bio

2) Comment

When you just start out on Twitter

Comments are everything

Here’s how to comment:

Don’t:

- restate their tweet in different words
- comment a single words like “nice”

Do:

- base your comment on their topic
- make your comment tweet style
- add line breaks

3) Quote Retweet

Quote retweets are a game changer

If you do them right

You can get retweeted

Here’s how:

- find a tweet from a big account
- retweet them and add a comment
- make your comment look like a tweet
- don’t restate their tweet
- add to the topic of the tweet

4) Schedule Tweets

Schedule your tweets while you sleep

- use the Twitter web app
- use a browser app on your phone
- you’ll see a calendar icon
- thats where you can schedule it

I like to tweet every 2 hours

4 tweets while I’m asleep

You will wake up with more followers

5) Retweet Yourself

You want to retweet yourself often

I will retweet tweets within 24 hours

To do this you need to tweet a lot

That way your TL isn’t duplicated

Retweeting yourself is a 2nd chance

More of your audience sees the tweet

6) Tweet with Authority

You need to tweet like an expert

- use “absolutes”
Example: every, all, always, never

- speak to your audience
Example: you will never win if...

- say polarizing things
Example: college is worthless

Combine all 3 for super authority

7) Tweet Value

Give away info that you should sell

- it will get shared
- people will trust you
- you will sell more courses that way

If I have a valuable tweet written out

I will send it between 6-8 AM PST

Engagement is best in the AM

9) Reuse Content

Don’t copy and paste your old content

That won’t work

Instead:

- find your popular tweets
- use Twitter analytics to find them
- take the subject and structure
- rewrite the tweet with different info

This has worked time and time again

And you save time

10) Write Threads

Threads are the reason I’ve grown

- my threads get over 20k impressions
- they establish me as an authority
- they make my audience come back

To write a good thread you need:

- a hook
- an easy to follow structure
- a call to action (optional)
