illinois locked down much harder.
there were -35% for 2 months vs -10% for one in sweden.
yet they got a very similar curve. (which i had to estimate as IL does not report real day of death data so i was forced to use reporting date from CTP)

and sweden counts any death for any reason within 30 days of a covid diagnosis as a covid death. in IL, you must be cov+ when you die. so the swedish number is inflated relative to illinois.
