So why do these men constantly get given access to their kids by the family courts?
I worked on a case once in which a man had thousands of CAI on his computer and was convicted, but family court said he ‘posed no risk to his own kids, just other kids’ and he was a ‘good dad’

I worked on another case where the man beat his wife regularly in front of the kids, but she was told this was irrelevant to the proceedings because he had never beaten the children
I’ve known women lose access to their kids for MUCH LESS than this - and yet the amount of times dangerous, abusive, violent men are given unsupervised access to kids... disgusting
This is the reason I decided to undertake legal training this year. I won’t stand for this anymore and I want to use my knowledge in forensic psychology, traum and abuse within family law.
