Edinburgh Fringe is cancelled this year. I thought instead I would put up some fun ways you could get your hands on some PIPPING HOT (funny) comedy whilst supporting THE ARTS (stand up) at the same time.
Firstly this petition, which will be funny in years to come (tragedy + time) but as of now highlight how bad things are right now for comedy in general

I bang on about twitch, but there are so many comedians on there doing some really unique things. They’re not just playing computer games but hosting chat shows, doing stand up gigs and so much more. Here is a list of some of the comics on the platform! https://www.twitch.tv/team/thestreamcreamdreamteam
I’d also like to add that Id you have AMAZON PRIME (who doesn’t) you can subscribe to your favourite comedian for FREE. Which means they recieve your £5 subscription and it’s all included in your amazon prime membership. So you’re not out of pocket!
My second home @StandComedyClub does fantastic weekly (Saturday night) comedy shows. Hosted by the excellent @marknelsoncomic these shows have previously featured @frankieboyle, @Daniel_Sloss and many more. Check them out here

Want the feeling of being in an audience? @nextupcomedy have hundreds of LIVE comedy specials which you can watch by subscribing to their service. Some absolute bangers here but can I recommend @abcomedian’s as a starting point. It’s perfect.

SIMPLY GOOGLE A COMEDIAN YOU LIKE. Find their website and find out how you can support them! Do they have merch? An album? A patreon? Support them so they can keep making funnies while love comedy isn’t an option. You’ll be amazed how many have a podcast or something similar x
“Love Comedy” is the industry term for “Non Live Comedy” it’s not a typo - go fuck yourselves.
