Canada has seen a dramatic shift in the @globeandmail to what is known as “Yellow Journalism.” Over the last few wks it has become abhorrent & insufferable in that regard. Garnering clicks & eyeballs to the point of attempting to bring down a gov't in order to generate revenue

Organizations such as the American owned Postmedia chain have actively subverted most of what being Canadian means. They have hired a pro-Republican every-man-for-himself staff who unabashedly promote and laud the “American way” including Trump's insanity.

However, The Globe and Mail has taken a much more dishonest route to the same ends. Their use of Yellow Journalism is blatant and obscene. They hired a slate of activist journalists with conservative-republican agendas and those with personal axes to grind.

Opinion and single anonymous sources are their stock and trade for unrelenting 'scandal' and controversy while claiming an unverified method of 'fact checking.' As the old saying goes: If it bleeds, it leads.

Read the following and then look at the front page of the Globe and Mail. Yellow Journalism personified. Those working there should be ashamed but then many of them worked for the American owned chain Postmedia where the common good is something to hate and fear.

The Globe and Mail has a phalanx of supporters who challenge any & all who call out their Yellow Journalism. The tact usual includes calling all critics "Trudeau supporters" or "delusional lefties" The demeaning slurs and insults dovetail nicely with the G&M's editorial bent

Remember the next time you see the words "liberal twitter" that those using the term are happy to discard/demean a large portion of Canada and those on this cesspool of a platform out of hand and have no regard for your right to hold truth to power -them and their paymasters.

The American owned Postmedia and the investor class supporting Globe and Mail are not friends to Canada. They are not 'holding truth to power' they are pandering to the low info voter and the rabid libertarian for monetary gain. They are not here for you.
