1+2 was Bernie, but bad faith actors & people jaded by 1+3 claimed it was impossible to appeal to non-wealthy white voters by any means other than racism— even as Bernie lead with Independents.

Endorsements that were proof of concept were cast as proof that Bernie was a bigot.

Now we’re stuck with Biden, who like Hillary in 2016, is doing a bad job with 2. Best case scenario is a 1+3 win. But at what cost?
