1) Pattern recognition is bias.

2) Pattern recognition can be manufactured simply through repetitive exposure to carefully controlled or selected stimulus.

3) Pattern recognition is not confirmation of truth.

4) It's far too easy to make spurious correlations.
5) Pattern recognition makes it easy to believe that something is true or will be true; the more it is reinforced, the more you will be convinced the pattern is real.
