Now we’re on the topic of hijab again and it’s really just the same things be said over and over. “Don’t make me feel bad for being fashionable in hijab” or “do you expect us all to wear black abayas”
hijab has conditions if you can meet those conditions in a long skirt +

cardigan then good for you mashaAllah. We need to stop pretending hijab is a piece of cloth that isn’t a practice with *conditions*. And yes you very much should feel bad about your sins whether it’s falling short of proper hijab or anything else. Guilt is a mercy from Allah.
I understand the struggle to want to feel pretty while in hijab it’s taken me time to get to where I am w hijab. Vanity is something we all struggle w to some degree I think. But the problem is when you deny what you’re doing is unIslamic & a bastardization of sacred practices.
It’s really not that hard to take advice from others instead of just lashing out. They’re not doing it to be malicious, “hijabi culture” has a really big effect on young Muslim girls that they don’t even know what hijab really is anymore beyond just a scarf.
^its also not that hard to give advice in an appropriate manner instead of being rude btw I know some of y’all are passionate about things but being nice is free
