Arsenal are close to agreeing a new contract with FA Cup hero Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after a breakthrough in talks, with the 31-year-old believed to have verbally agreed a new deal until 2023, thought to be worth more than £250,000 a week. ( @standardsport)

Sources have told ESPN that official confirmation of the new contract could come as early as next week for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. ( @JamesOlley)

AC Milan frontrunners to sign Lucas Torreira this summer, who is open to an Italy return. I understand a loan move is most likely option. ( @ChrisWheatley_)

AC Milan are interested in Lucas Torreira, who could be allowed to leave as Arsenal look to rebuild their midfield. Torreira wants to go back to Italy.

Reports in Italy say that Fiorentina are also keen, but according to @TelegraphSport AC Milan is the most likely destination.

Fiorentina want to bring Torreira back to Italy. They have offered Torreira a central role in their project, a certainty that Atletico cannot guarantee him. The Spaniards also took the first steps for the player, who at the moment gave priority to Italy. (Gazzetta dello Sport)

Lucas Torreira: "Today I need to think about my future very well. I have a contract with the club & I have to respect it, obviously if I have to leave, it will be for the best. We have to be calm & wait."

Jorge Mendes is determined to secure a move for James Rodríguez this summer. The Gunners are understood to have shown the most interest in the player despite interest from PSG and Atletico Madrid. (AS)

Willian is "upset & even offended" as the player's camp believe Chelsea did not try hard enough to keep him from rivals Arsenal. Willian's camp felt it was clear the Blues didn't really want him to stay, so he had no option but to look elsewhere to continue his career. ( @espn)

Frank Lampard on Willian: "In terms of being disappointed, certainly as a club we have done everything we can to explain to Willian. Mine & his relationship is very close & I would have no feeling of disappointment if he does move on. He is a fantastic man & a fantastic player"

Lampard on Willian joining a domestic rival: "When a player's out of contract they have the freedom & right to go & play wherever they want, so we have to understand that. If they stay in the league & its a player of Willian's quality, then they will go & contribute to that team"
