Why do I ship Oumeno ?
First of all, i don't ship it because of the line in the chapter 5 don't even try to attack me by using the argument that it was kaito who said it.

I ship it because the 2 being in couple can totally be healthy.
They would help each others : Kokichi helping in a first time Himiko (like in chapter 3) with her emotions and i feel like Himiko would do the same. They'd perfectly understand each other.

Kokichi is mean to her in his way but actually care of her (like he did for a few members of the v3 cast) Himiko showed "attraction" to him two or three time and he did the same but not directly-
Now their dynamic.
I feel like Kichi would totally prank her like a thousand times an she will finally do the same. Them can be in a such dynamic couple due to their stubbornness.

When there is an argument between them, and whenever one of them cross the line, they come with a long prepared and sincere excuse. They sometime learn of their dispute.
When one is crying, the other immediately stop shouting. They tends to just go in another piece but when they finally make up they probably hug for a long time
When Kokichi is sad, Himiko tries to help him by makin him smile and laugh. When Himiko is sad, Kokichi prepare dinner and stay with her as much as possible.

Time for being bashed, i do believe that kokichi "bullie" everyone but it's him way for having a little conversation w/ppl as a diabolic monster as he want others to see him like this

so i believe he mostly wanted to speak with her. (like he wanted to speak w/gonta, shuichi, ...)
But Himiko could have hated him because of that, right ? She could but she didn't.

The trial (chapter 5) was at a time were maki basically wanted to kill kokichi, shuichi tried to find the truth and tsumugi..who cares. She wouldn't get in the way of maki or shuichi (remember when they was all mad at kichi ? that why i'm believing this)
Also except Himiko being weird sayin she wanted to see Kokichi naked, there is the moment where kokichi said at tenko that he liked himiko himself
