Today, while me & other reporters waited to bear witness to the actions of our local gov't, was the worst verbal abuse I've seen in my 11+ years as a journalist. I like to think I have pretty thick (and now sunburned) skin, but even reporting from tense situations in the past, I haven't heard some of the things that were leveled at the small group of reporters/photographers today.

Makes me sad for our community more than anything.
