not sure where to begin on this one https://twitter.com/Tuf_Borland/status/1291782873461207041?s=19
thing is, this ain't about the effort. most guys i've talked to think their programs are doing the best they can. they don't think that's good enough.

don't celebrate this at the expense of the united groups' real and legitimate concerns. https://twitter.com/AlbertBreer/status/1291797562404544513
i just wanna know who encouraged those ohio state players to put that out. wasn't any need to, as far as i can tell. i think that's the part that's uncomfortable. feels like someone grown encouraged them to undercut their peers.

peers, btw, who are working WITH the big ten.
and that last sentence is an important distinction between the big ten and pac-12 groups. when i talked to hunter reynolds, he was clear that his group was working *with* their conference. so why would the ohio st guys feel the need to lick the boot like that?
they're only truly as safe as the least diligent school in the big ten. and that's why this statement was so counterproductive. your school is cool. got it.

in the pac-12, they know stanford is cool. but stanford guys are still pushing for better. https://twitter.com/BSnow247/status/1291829172361482243
if you think i'm somehow upset that those players released that statement, i can only conclude you can't read. or, somehow, read so well that you see things that aren't there. https://twitter.com/EddieEScott1/status/1291836435805409283
well, i did say that thing about bootlicking. but that was bootlicking. hard to see it any other way. some of y'all are just into that sort of thing, but i'm not. i'll cop to that.

i do think that statement from ohio state's players misses the point. just like @eddieescott did.
seriously, who wakes up and *needs* to say that? again, lots of guys in these united movements like their schools, staffs and coaches. that doesn't mean anything. https://twitter.com/ScarletGreatCT/status/1291833661122379776
i think a great misunderstanding is some of you think the guys in the united movements hate their coaches or something. not even close. i've talked to some of them about their coaches and damn near wanted to play for those guys after hearing them. this isn't about resentment.
when your peers are fighting for better and you go out of your way to tell the world how much you love your boss, what do you call it?

again, peers who aren't even trying to start a revolution. they just want some help. https://twitter.com/EddieEScott1/status/1291838159530098690
and i'm asking why such a thing would need to be said. i know who it serves. so i think it's a fair question. what i don't get is why you've got your cape on for an institution you should be skeptical of. https://twitter.com/ScarletGreatCT/status/1291838255026049027
while undercutting my peers who aren't doing anything wrong? nah, can't think of a time. https://twitter.com/ScarletGreatCT/status/1291839542861889537
anyway, bless the hearts of anyone taking sides against a bunch of college students trying to make sure they're safe while playing football, knowing they're playing to serve everyone else. you gotta be a serious bum to take that approach.
what i'm trying to tell you is ohio state doing a good job isn't enough. there's a whole thread you can follow. https://twitter.com/CapitalPockets/status/1291841642178252801
