Much has been said about the #GoSensGo
goalie depth. Just catching up reading/listening to some interesting content on the Sens future in the crease. Here are some of my favourites with some comments and a poll! [sorry for the thread, I don't have a blog + I can't write]

I just read this and this is what got me thinking about the Sens crease 2,3,4+ years down the road and really prompted me to start this thread. Great piece, as always, by @hailey_salvian (please talk about this on the next Common Sens pod with @6thSens!)

This @DobberProspectsRadio podcast with @pharling @JokkeNevalainen @FHPQuinn delve into Ottawa's prospect pool and they all disagree on which goalie has the highest upside. Basically: they are just as confused as we are. Loved the entire episode

Mandolese’s rise has been particularly impressive to me, winning goalie of the year in the high scoring Q while rocking a league best 30.45 GSAA. That’s… very good (data via @davemacp). This is a must read from @BrandonMaki_

A deep dive into Mads Sogaard’s game, one of my personal favourites heading into last year’s draft and the youngest in the system. Yes, I was as shocked as you were when he was picked THAT early.

They've taken a G in 4 of the last 5 drafts (all taken #157 or later with the exception of Sogaard). I hope this trend continues. Love the idea of taking one every year (esp when you have the picks) and praying one pans out. It’s prob 90% luck 10% development, so shoot your shot?
The big issue is obviously contracts and you really only have 4-5 spots max (barring injury) where you can give goalies *some* exposure to pro shooters. But yes, I realize the total number of contracts in the org comes into play if you have 329 goalies in the system.
Although there are no goalies in the system with elite potential/NHL starter certainty (yet), who are you most excited about? Notes: I added their age, as of Sept. 2020. I excluded Hogberg because he's already with the big club.
